Hans ran. He ran to her. Pushing people who stood in his way from his pathway. When he caught sight of her, his pace fastened. He noticed the tears among her cheeks and how her face had whitened slightly. She was frightened.

"Are you alright?" He asked as he grasped hold of her and attempted to bring her into a hug. She remained still in her place as if she was thinking deeply.

Her trance was broken for a second. Glancing around quickly, Elsa looked back on Hans and grasped his hand.

"It's not safe here," she stated as she made her way to the spiral staircase. She flew up the stairs with swift speed, desperately wanting to be at the top.

"Ladies and gentlemen, please remain in your seats. Do not panic. It was an accident...simply an accident!" Cogsworth shouted to the audience as Lumier looked dumbfounded. Both managers left their box and began to make their way onto the stage. It was Cogsworth only attempt to placate the audience as stagehands and policemen crowd onto the stage.

"Why have you brought me here?" Hans questioned as he continued to follow Elsa up the stairs who did not look back on him. She continued, like her life depended on it. She needed air and promptly.

"We can't go back there," Elsa answered swiftly, still continuing on with her walk.

"We must return," Hans explained to Elsa but still she continued to climb.

"I need air," She stated as if it was obvious.

"His eyes will find you here," Hans stated which caused Elsa to stiffen slightly but still she pressed on. She was determined.

"Hans, don't say that," Elsa snapped back as came to the third floor of the theatre. Finding the fourth set of spiral stair, Elsa ran towards them.

"The Phantom of the Opera will kill," Hans yelled as he rushed after Elsa who had hurried her speed. It was as if she was trying to rid of him.

"Don't even think it," Elsa whispered to herself, hoping to rid of Hans' words.

"And kill again!" The Vicomte yelled yet again. His words entered Elsa's ears as if he had just pronounced someone's death.

"No..." Elsa whispered to herself. Hoping that her Phantom would not do such a crime. Elsa begged, she wished, she prayed, but in the end, all the evidence led to her phantom.

"My God, who is this man," both Elsa and Hans spoke as they continued on their path.

Hans continued the question by adding, "who hunts to kill?"

Elsa took a different path. She added, "who hides his face?" Elsa refused to admit that her Phantom of the Opera had murdered Gaston and ridiculed Grimhilde. It simply could not be him. He was her Angel.

"I can't escape from him..." Elsa whispered as the realisation hit her.

"Whose is this voice you hear..." Hans questioned, hoping to get an answer from Elsa but he soon realised that she was speaking to her self as she climbed the stairs further. Sure enough, they were on the fifth floor of the theatre level and only had one flat of stairs to climb before they reached the rooftop.

"I never will," Elsa whispered to herself with a slight smile gaining on her lips. She reached the bottom of the fifth staircase and made her way along the steps with brisk steps.

"And in this labyrinth, where night is blind the Phantom of the Opera is here:" both Hans and Elsa spoke but their next lines both wavered. Hans continued by saying, 'Inside your mind' while Elsa spoke 'inside my mind'.
