Chapter 6

Harry

After the signing Paul rushed us back to the hotel so we can sleep because we had to drive to Pennsylvania early in the morning for another signing there. Zayn looked pretty bummed that he missed his chance again.

“Don’t worry mate, you will see her again. We are in NY for a couple more days. Maybe she will be at the signing in Pennsylvania,” I told Zayn.

“Really, you think she would go all the way to Pennsylvania?” Niall asked me.

“Yeah, she will,” Louis said smiling at Zayn.

I shrugged my shoulders, I didn’t know if she would be there. Truthfully I was positive he wouldn’t see her again but I couldn’t tell Zayn that he would get even more gutted.

When we arrived at the hotel we all walked towards our separate rooms. Liam told Zayn “stop thinking about this and get some sleep. Things have a way of working out don’t stress.” I gave Zayn a quick hug and walked with Niall toward the back corridor where our rooms were located.

“I’m going to order me some food, maybe some chips,” Niall told me as he turned the knob to his room.

“We just ate,” I said laughing. I unlocked my room and walked in and took off my clothes for bed.

The next morning after a long drive we had arrived at the Best Buy where the signing was being held. There were swarms of girls everywhere and they were screaming our names. When they saw our van arrive they started to sing One Thing.

I got of the van and went to take pictures and hug the fans. The security told us to hurry inside and I followed the boys into Best Buy.

Zayn looked much better today and I was glad. I took some silly string and sprayed his head. “Harry, my hair,” he complained.

I laughed and winked at him before I sat down at the table. Today I was at the end of the table and Niall was next to me. I started signing CDs and talking to the girls. I tried to hug and talk to as many as I could.

After awhile I looked up and that’s when I saw the most stunning girl ever. She took my breath away and I for some odd reason I really wanted to speak with her and get to know her better. She was talking to Niall and was going to be in front of me next. I smiled as she approached and stopped signing CDs. “Hey love, how are you doing” I asked her.

“Hey Harry, I’m Claire, I’m good. It’s so nice to meet you,” she replied as she extended her hand for a handshake.

“You to Claire,” I replied as I extended my hand to shake hers. The moment our hands touched I felt my heart skip a beat. I felt something for this girl I’ve never felt before. There was a growing pile of CDs I had to sign and I was still staring at this girl and holding her hand.

“Harry,” Niall nudges me and I let go of her hand. The security guard yelled at Claire and other girls to move on.

“Hold on,” I told the guard “I didn’t sign her CD yet.” Since there was a hold up and I hadn’t signed many CDs the guard made Claire and a couple of other girls move on and wait on the side for their CD. I quickly signed all the CDs except Claire’s and passed it to the guard. I took out a scrap of paper and wrote my cell number and “Call me, Harry x” and stuffed it inside her CD and signed the cover. I handed the CD to the guard and watched as he passed it to Claire. I couldn’t believe I had just done that. I had just given my number to a fan.
