Crashed

Chapter Two

-Kira's POV-

I woke up to two blue eyes staring down at me. He looked like Nash but he wasn't. His hair was longer and he looked my age.

I covered my face and he smiled. He took my hand and helped me up. I fell back down but he caught me. His arms were wrapped around me and I looked back at his face. He was taller than me and he smelled really good.

I smiled and so did he.

" I'm Hayes, I'm really sorry I wasn't paying attention and I kind of ran into you," he mumbled.

I looked at him and said, "I'm Jenn," I was tongue tied, I didn't know what to say, I had butterflies in my stomach and I thought I was gonna faint again.

He smiled at me and I straightened myself out. I looked down at myself and my knees were bloody and so were his.

"I um, I, I have to um, go to the pool, I'm a lifeguard in training and I'm gonna be late," I choked out

I started to walk away and he noticed I was limping. He ran over and picked me up.

"You've been out for 2 hours I'm pretty sure your shift is over," he laughed.

I didn't know what to say I didn't even struggle to get out of his grip I just smiled and nodded.

He carried me, I didn't know where but he did. After 3 minutes I built up the courage to ask him something,

"Where are we going?"

"You'll see," he laughed.

A couple minutes later he set me down on the sand. He brought me to the beach?

"Surprise?" Hayes said

"Who are you?" I asked

"I'm Hayes Grier and I would love to take you on a date sometime,"

Grier...that sounded familiar.

"Yea" I choked

"So is that a yes?"

"Yea" I said

"Ok wanna meet at the park at 7?"

"Sure"

"Alright I'll see you then" he walked away

What just happened? I'm sitting here on a beach alone, without a phone or penny board, and my knees are gushing blood. I guess Hayes realized that too because he came running back and picked me up.

He ran back to where we crashed.

"Got it from here?" He asked

"Yea" I said

We said goodbye and he started to walk away. I grabbed my penny board and rode home. Tonight was going to be fun:)
