Ch.19-Tension

"So what is that supposed to mean?" Mia questioned Grayson.

"What?" He looked up from his backpack. "What do you think it means? Mia that wasn't supposed to be offensive."

"Well it kinda was." She glared at him for a few seconds then looked down at the fire.

"I'm not following this conversation anymore. What's it about?" I looked at either of them for an answer. When I got no reply I turned to Colin who looked just as lost I was.

"Don't ask me. I haven't been following what they are saying." He put his hands up as if he was surrendering.

"Well let's just drop it." Grayson mumbled, crossing his arms and frowning.

"Ok fine but-"

"Drop it!"

"Ok geez."

"Both of you stop arguing! It's annoying!" Colin shouted. The three of us turned to him.

We've been walking for the past hour and both Colin and Drake have been next to each other occasionally exchanging looks like they were having some private conversation with out talking. His sudden outburst made us stop. "Um ok. Sorry. You ok?" Grayson asked with a guarded stance.

"Sorry. Yea I'm fine. Just not feeling great." He looks at his feet before looking up at Drake who had the same bored expression for the past hour.

"What's up?"

"Don't worry about me Grayson I'm fine. I can take care of myself."

"Ok ok. Why so defensive?"

"Just. It doesn't matter." He crossed his arms, closing up just like Drake use to do.

"Your acting just like Drake did when we tried to get him to open up about stuff. You get defensive and close up. So I know when your not telling us something because you act just like Drake. Well at least I know where he gets it from." Grayson eyes him and Drake now before shaking his head.

"Well it's not my fault! Yes we are probably going to act very similar after all he is basically a part of me! I didn't ask to be here. I don't really want to be here actually!" Colin glared at Grayson and balled his fists up.

"What? What is that supposed to mean? Just calm down first ok?" I was growing concerned from his sudden outburst. Did he really not want to be here? Even Drake looked a little shocked.

"Maybe we should take a small break?" Mia suggested. I knew she could feel the tension now. Colin shook his head before mumbling something and walking off.

"Ok then..." Grayson looked at me and then to Drake who just shrugged. He's been quiet most of the day. No one has brought up the incident from yesterday day either. It still confuses me.

A/N- hey sorry for lack of updates. School is starting soon and sorry that this is so short. I had summer reading. Plus I've been going through some things and have been really unmotivated to do anything. Sorry.... I'll try and update more.
