Ch.20-Understanding

A/N- I just wanted to quickly thank the people who left comments on the last chapter. Thank you guys for understanding. I'm feeling better now and I'm giving you this chapter earlier than I planned. It's nice to know that you guys care. Yea I've just been going through a few things that are slowly working them selves out but it's still hard and it's left me tired and unmotivated. I have been feeling better so here is the chapter!

They don't understand what I've been through and the memories that still haunt me. I didn't mean to fight with Grayson but things happen.

"Ko öuy?" I jumped a little at drakes voice.

"Huh? Sorry didn't see ya there."

"Ko öuy?" He repeated.

"I still don't understand you. We need to figure out how to communicate since you still can't talk." I looked back down at my feet for a second. Drake sighed and sat down next to me.

"Do we actually act that similar like they said? I guess it makes sense. We are kinda the same person. You know that we are still connected even if we did split right?" I looked over to him as he shook his head. "You didn't know that? Our souls still keep us connected. I gave you my life force when I created you. But when you split part of it stayed in you other wise you'd just be a wild enderman. Thad why you still have your human mind. We're connected through four life forces."

"Ho" he looked at me again.

"What? Ho? What does that mean?" I was still trying to figure out how ender speech works. This is gonna be hard. I looked over at him and he was writing something in the dirt.

"Oh? Oh ok. Ho means oh? Wait isn't ho just oh backwards? Have you been talking back wards this whole time?! Why didn't I realize that sooner!" I exclaimed as realization hit. I got up getting an idea. I need to find the others. Drake just looked at me confused.

"I'll explain in a minute, common!" I took off to where the others were at before I heard a scream. Armen?!

~Mia~

"Come on you didn't have to yell at him."

"Hey he started yelling as well." Grayson pouted.

"Still! You have no idea what he's been through and what goes through his head. Honestly give him a break." I retorted. "I'm not going to fight with you ok. We've had enough fighting for now." I turned around to walk away when Armens scream broke out into the area making me and Grayson jump.

"Armen?"

"Spider!! Get it off!" Armen came flailing through the woods and ran right into Grayson. Ouch.

"Ow Armen what are you screaming about!" Grayson shoved him off and got up.

"There was a spider! It was like the size of my hand!" He looked back in the direction he came from.

"Armen there are bigger spiders that come out at night the size of a big dog. You are scared of a little spider? The giant night spiders can kill you!" I couldn't help but laugh at home annoyed Grayson looked right now.

"Guys? I think I figure something out!" Colin ran up before Drake teleported behind him. "He's just been talking backwards the whole time."

"Huh? Who?"

"Who do you think!? Drake."

"Oh. How did you figure this out?" Grayson shifted his weight to his other foot. He usually does this when something gets him thinking.

"Not sure. We were just talking or at least trying to and it just sorta clicked."

Useless. This is a completely useless waste of time. Rolling my eyes for the 5th time in the past 45 minutes we were still not getting anywhere with this.

"Would you at least try? And stop zoning out, please. We have nothing else to do till the sun come up. Maybe we can actually get something out of this?" Mia crossed her arms giving me the 'You are being a pain' look.

"Oñ" I flat out don't want to do this! Is that hard for them to understand that?

For the past 45 minutes Mia has been trying to get me to talk. I've tried. I can't talk. Not ready last English at least because no matter how hard I try it's not gonna be English.

"On? Your saying no aren't you? Well I guess he was right about your speech being backwards English for the most part." She sounded tired like everyone else. Walking all day will make you tired.

I got up and walked away from Mia. Grayson was with Armen and Colin doing something. Given Colin's mood earlier they are probably just trying to get him to open up. I guess I do get most of my personality from him or something. I don't know, I don't even want to think about that. It gives me a headache trying to wrap my mind around that stuff.

*snap*

What was that? A snapping tree branch in the middle of the night in the dark woods usually isn't a good sign. With me being an enderman right now also means I have night vision but I still don't see anything. Trees, trees, and ore trees. Another snap caught my attention but it came from my right this time.

"I said shut up!"

"Wait stop waking, i think it knows we are here."

"Well no dip Sherlock you keep stepping on twigs! That thing has better hearing than humans and night vision. Shut up or I will throw you in front of it and watch it kill you!"

"Ok sorry."

I didn't recognize either of the voices. Who ever is out here is horrible at being quiet. I took a few steps back and turned to get out of there. I didn't have a lot of mana left due to me teleporting earlier since I'm still recovering some of it. I could see Mia and the others around the fire and the voices sounded like they were moving in that direction. Wait are they going to do something to the others? We're were in an area that is known for bandits and thiefs. Crap! My walk broke out into a sprint and the feeling like something bad was about to happen started to make me more on edge.

I didn't even realize that to my right I could see two men sprinting as well. They didn't seem to notice me yet. I was still behind them as they were closing the distance between the others and them. They also had their swords drawn.

"Aīm! NośYArg!" I called out hoping they would hear me before it was to late. I'm not sure what these men want but they aren't going to hurt my friends! My family!

'Why you protect tiny weak humans?'

Because they are family!
