Ch.25-Connection

As soon as she said his name Grayson drew his word. The others got in more defensive stances as well. I continued to tug at the rope around my wrists, despite the burning.

"Good you remember me. So-"

"How in the nether are you alive!? Your supposed to be dead...." Grayson interrupted him, the anger behind his voice clearing showing. He stared down Xander , which I'm guessing is his name now, who returned the glare.

"Now Grayson don't be so rude. Is that how you treat an old friend?" He took a step closer and shoved me along with him. I winced from the pain in my ankle but didn't say anything.

"Friends? What makes you think we are friends  after you tired to kill us!" Mia retorted pulling back the arrow on her bow tighter. Armen hid behind her and Drake hasn't moved or said anything, just glaring at Xander much like Grayson was.

"I wasn't trying to kill you. Just some thing else. You know what the something is. Do you really thing you could kill him for good? It's takes a lot more than a enchanted sword to kill something that ancient and powerful." Xander said. "Oh and I know what happened in your little group. So don't think that I don't know who that endermen is behind you."

"Hello drake nice to see you again."

"And you kiss your mother with that mouth?" He turned his attention back to Grayson. "Now we trade. Drake for Colin. No one gets hurt."

"Excuse me?" Mia sassed him. She got closer and gave me a concerned look. "I don't know who you think you are. We are not trading either of hem. Give Colin back before we use force." Mia was taking charge and Grayson didn't argue.

That's it I'm done with this bull. We are not trading them for what ever reason he wants. You don't just trade people! I gripped my bow and arrow tighter and stepped forward next to Grayson.

"Give. Us. Colin. " I stated firmly. What ever fear I had is gone. I don't care how he is still alive. I am not afraid to take action this time. I studied him up and down for a brief second. Xander looked the same as last time except one of his eyes was silver, not red, was he blind in one eye now?

"Look sweetheart I'm not playing games. I am doing this the easy way. I had to find you guys the hard way. Don't make me do the hard away again. I will not hesitated to kill Colin. Or any of you. The hard way is killing all of you which shouldn't be hard and taking Drake by force. Don't worry. He will eventually die to. I just want to have some fun with him first." He put one hand around Colin's neck and kept the other one on his arm. Colin's face turned a light red and he started grabbing at Xander's hand and arm. Was he choking him?!

"Don' t hurt my family!" The voice made me jump a little. I turned around a saw drake with this murderous look, hands clenched into fists.

A rage that I haven't felt in a long time clouded my mind. Xander was supposed to be dead!

'DEAD. Who do you think you are?! You will not take only thing in my life that I care about away! THE ONLY THING THAT DOESN'T MAKE ME FEEL LIKE I DONT BELONG  HERE. THE ONLY THING THAT KEEPS ME SANE! '

Everything was going red and bright. I knew I probably looked like I was ready to kill something. That's because I was. Xander crossed a line and he was going pay.

"Drake, don't do what I think you want to do." Colin choked out. He was dying right there as Xander tightened his grip on his throat. The sensation of something choking me started to become noticeable and making it hard to breathe. I didn't care.
