"What do you mean where is Herobrine." Grayson's voice immediately got low and dark. His expression turned from worried to a more serious and concerned one. "He is dead, gone, not here."
"No. He's ... I heard him. I know Drake did too." Colin's breathing was starting to even out. I glanced from him to Drake. What is he talking about? Is He not actually dead? Did we go through all of what happened three years ago for nothing? It's been three years anyways so why would he just now decide to turn up?
"I....I don't know"
------------------------------
"Almost there!"
"But it hurts Grayson. I am tired of walking. Why do we walk so much?"
"The town is right there. Calm down." Grayson put his map and compass away and smiled. I rolled my eyes and sat down for a minute. Armen joined me and Colin just went limp onto the ground with a dramatic sigh. Drake stood there looking half dazed before teleporting somewhere. I didn't care enough the find where right now.
"No come on get up. We are literally right outside the village. Let's go!" Grayson came over and grabbed Armen by the arm arm, hauling him to his feet. He let out a long whine in protest and flopped back into the ground. I laughed quietly to myself and rolled my eyes.
"Five minutes, please?"
"Fine. But then we head into the village. We need supplies." We all nodded in agreement.
"Wait. What about Drake? He can't just wander into the village with us." Armen had a good point.
"NEht dNìhêb yaTs Ll'I" Drake looked over at us from where he sat down. He looked tired from what I could tell. Enderman were nocturnal, as in they were night creatures. Maybe him being like this is affecting him differently making him tired in the day. I've noticed that he doesn't sleep much at night and stays awake most of the time here recently.
"You sure?" Colin glanced over at him briefly.
"Wait I still don't get how you understand him. Since when could you understand him?"
"I'm not sure. I just do?"
"Ok well we have work to do. Everybody up!"
-------------------
After wandering around for some time and browsing through a few small shops, we gathered what we needed and headed out.
"So what did everyone get?" Grayson inquired.
One by one we listed off our items as we walked. It was just me, Grayson, and Colin since Armen opted to stay behind with Drake. Not really paying attention to the conversation at this point, which was just chatting idly to pass the time, and focused more on the scenery around us. Everything really was peaceful out here.
The trees created a peaceful atmosphere and kept the sun at bay. A few forest animals could be seen here and there and the air had a nice chill to it that wasn't too cold.
These calm moments were rare here as of late. In these moments it feels like the whole incident with Herobrine never happened. I wish these moments would last longer. They never do though, something always seems to go wrong. Looks like we don't have to wait long fir that to happen as well.
A high pitched screech sliced through the calmness in the air followed by a second scream that sounded a lot like Armen...
A/N- yeah I am aware if how I kinda disappeared again. Went on a hiatus. Plus school has kept me busy and whatnot and had writers block for a while. Sorry that this is short and for disappearing with out notice. Updates may be slow, maybe not. I don't have a set schedule. Another chapter will come eventually. Thanks to those who sticked around and welcome anyone who is new!
