I hung up the phone. I was out of a job. Someone who ordered from us supposedly found a condom on their pizza. Not that I believed it, of course, but Arthur said it was probably Francis. So now, Antonio, Francis, and I were all unemployed. Great.

We sat in Arthur's bedroom, mostly, just talking. Talking about just random stuff. And I found out that we really were opposites, yet we clicked. How odd.

At the cafe that morning, the answer Arthur gave me was very familiar. Maybe he was trying to get me back? I wasn't sure.

His dad had turned out to be a pretty nice guy who didn't care that I stayed over until my place was fixed, which was cool.

Eventually, I got Arthur to try out some Slenderman on my laptop.

"Really, it's not that bad, as long as you keep a careful eye out.", he said.

"Nah, he always creeps up on you. At least that's how it is for me when I play."

I was going to say more, but my phone rang.

"Hey... um, Alfred?" It was my brother, Matt.

"Is it about that girl that asked you out?"

I heard a sharp breath intake from his side and he blurted out, "Well yeah, about that. It was actually a guy that asked me out that's why when I asked you I said someone not a female or girl or she or whatever."

I didn't say anything at first, so he asked, "Alfred are you mad at me for doing what you said?"

"And that would be?"

"I kissed him, like y-you said to do.", he quickly added, "but he liked it and now we're together is that okay?"

Aww. I really felt bad for him. He shouldn't have to come to me for approval. We were about the same age, he could make his own decisions if he wanted.

"Mattie, bro. It's really okay. You don't have to come to me for approval. I'm not your mom. Go make your own choices and do what you want for once."

"Really? Oh thanks, Alfred!", he said gleefully as the phone was hung up on from the other end.

"What was that?", Arthur asked. "My little brother needed dating advice and was worried I wouldn't approve of him dating a guy.", I shrugged, indicating that gays were fine so he didn't feel awkward.

"Oh. By any chance did he tell you his name?", Arthur asked. I answered, "Nah, just that it's a guy."
