Michael and Luke were definitely an extremely cute couple, but it wasn't often that their entire college got to witness one of their slow, soft, and passionate kisses. They were private when it came to most of their more romantic antics, and while they loved teasing the hell out of each other in the hallways or in their shared classes, they never really liked showing each other's softer, more bearable sides. When they did, they were the talk of the school for weeks on end.

But tonight, nobody was expecting it to be a cute moment for the couple.

Luke was an amazing football player, with his winning streak still going strong. Goalies hated him, because he always managed to kick the ball just out of reach for them to catch. It was a specialty of his.

When they were in the beginning of the season, Luke had been training nonstop in his and Calum's dorm room with tires they'd strategically placed to force them to be quick on their feet. Michael would watch them and laugh if they tripped, before helping them back on their feet. He was sure that it was an extremely slim chance of either one of them tripping over something this season.

About five games in, they were facing their rival college as a home game, and Luke couldn't be more excited to kick ass. He knew that Michael would be in the front of the bleachers, or leaning against the fence for a long time at the very least, after he'd gotten his good luck kiss from the sidelines.

Once the teams came out, Luke made a quick detour and ran across the sidelines, looking for Michael.

Michael was smiling as he watched Luke look for him, knowing that they don't really do this often, unless it was a big game, like tonight. He was actually a little hard to spot, even with his height, seeing as he'd recently redone his hair to a deep black colour, matching basically half the guys on the sideline. So he leaned across the fence, catching Luke's eye and chuckling as his whole face brightened up as he dashed over.

Michael saw Ashton filming the moment on his phone, shaking his head, but deciding to hop over the fence so Luke didn't have to uncomfortably lean over it.

Luke ended up crashing into Michael and almost knocking them over, but it was worth hearing Michael's laugh as he bumped into one of the tables. He grinned and cupped his face before kissing him passionately, hearing wolf whistles from his teammates, especially Calum and Joshua, two of his best mates.

Michael had one hand on Luke's waist, the other one on Luke's shoulder as they kissed. He pulled away after a few seconds, smiling as Luke looked a lot more relaxed.

"You need to stop making me crash into things. Eventually, you're going to have to buy these guys a new table," Michael joked, and Luke rolled his eyes.

"Wow, thanks for the good luck, babe. Just what I wanted to hear." Luke said, poking Michael's cheek harshly as he giggled.

"Good luck, love. Now, go kick some ass." Michael said, pushing Luke off of him and cheekily smacking his bum.

Luke was grinning ear to ear as he ran back to his team, getting scolded by the coach for making them wait a little bit, but Luke knew he wasn't in trouble.

Michael shook his head as he watched Luke shrug innocently at his coach, chuckling and going to his and Ashton's seats.

The game kicked off soon after that, and Michael had a proud look on his face each time Luke or Calum scored a goal. He didn't really understand the rules of soccer, even when Luke tried to explain them to him, but he loved watching Luke get so into something besides watching Michael paint or draw.

In the third quarter, though, Luke was keeping an eye on one of the players that had been glaring at him the entire game. He'd never met the guy, but by the way he was glaring at Luke, he figured he'd beat him last season by a wide margin. It wasn't that uncommon for Luke to get glared at in a game. He just shook it off.
