2 years later
"Mom!" I sigh while releasing his tie.
"Yes luke."
"When are we going to the party!"
I shake my head while lifting him into my arms.
"In a little bit." I run my hands through his light brown locks.
"Okay, I just miss him." A frown spreads across his features
"I know honey I miss him too but it's just how it worked out."
He nods while the frown diminishes "You think he has a gift for me!"
I laugh while the man I love dearly next too me mimics my actions "Why wouldn't he?"
Luke giggles and jumps out of my arm "I dunno just askin."
I kiss his cheek "Go to the living room and play we will be down in a minute."
"Okay mommy." He runs away- well more like skipping to the living room.
"I think we did pretty good with him." He leans down and kisses my cheek.
"Me too even if you weren't here for everything with him."
He nods while pulling me into his embrace "Well I wish I was there but, at least I'm here now and especially with you."
I smile warmly at him "I'm glad your here too, and helping me with everything."
"Always."
"I love you Annie."
He pecks my lips "I love you too Andrew."
