Aqua's POV

Six days had passed. I was still walking to Camp Half-Blood, I knew it would take around 40 days to get there if I walked. But by bike I could get there in 1 week, so I would always ride a bike from one point to the other of each state whenever I could.

I was riding a rent-a-bike when suddenly an idea hit me. I could try to call Blackjack to get me. I was now in South Dakota, so I was almost halfway there. I mean, I did have that idea before, but I was to far from the camp to be able to call him.

Blackjack? Blackjack, can you hear me?

Nothing....

Blackjack, please answer me...

Still nothing.

Boss? Your voice is a little weird...

Blackjack! It's me, Aqua.

Boss lady! Boss isn't good, he doesn't bring donuts. Boss's girl says it's because he misses you.

How about you come get me and I'll make sure Percy gets better.

Where are you?

I'm in Nebraska. Meet me in the Samuel R. McKelvie National Forest.

Nebraska!? I'll be there in a few hours.

I'll wait, is Percy there?

No, Boss isn't talking to anyone. Not even Boss's girl.

Worry. I didn't want anything to happen to him, but knowing that I would be there in a few hours was enough to calm me down.

Okay, then... Thank you.

He didn't answer, but I knew he heard me. I parked the bike and walked up to a diner. Using the last money I had, I ate some food and bought a few donuts. I wanted to, at least, calm Blackjack down.

I headed to the Forest, hoping I could find a discreet spot for Blackjack to land. When I found a small clearing big enough for Blackjack to land, I stayed there. Well, actually, I laid down near a tree and quickly fell asleep.

---

I heard something. Opening my eyes and standing up, I looked around. Nothing.

Gods, Aqua. Calm down.

I looked at my watch, it had been around 5 hours since I fell asleep. I hadn't slept much after sneaking out, so this 'nap' had been very energy boosting for me even though I slept on the cold hard ground.

CRACK

I looked behind me, a man was about to pounce at me with a knife. I tried moving away but he locked me in his arms, putting the knife near my throat.

"Give me your money." I glared at him.

"I don't have any." He chuckled.
