The next day she was sitting on a bench, the same bench she was sitting the other day with Z. He had kept teasing her that she had ice cream on her face, but he refused to tell her where it was and he didn't want to get it off her face for her. She tried to ask him but he kept on looking the other way while chuckling.
A smiled formed on her face as she thought back at their 'date', even though they had run into her ex- they had had a great day. She remembered all the smiles and laughter they shared together.
Suddenly she feels two hands being pressed on her shoulder as she looks up in shock, her mouth slightly open. But that immediately changed after she learned who the person was who scared her.
"Eunha" Latvia said happily as the two friends hugged each other.
"Oh Via, I have to tell you so much" she said as she took a seat next to her friend. "So I had a date with this random guy because I couldn't find my crush on the day before Valentine's day. But we had a great time together".
Latvia noticed how big her friends smile was, as she wondered what had exactly happened that day.
"So the basketball player is history now" Latvia asked as she tucked a loose strain of hair behind her ear.
Eunha got quiet all of the sudden as she was thinking hard about the question, "I really don't know yet, I've had so much fun with Cy".
"Have you thought about the basketball player at all".
Again there was a moment of silence before Eunha shook her head, "no I was only thinking about my date. Does that mean I'm over him?".
That was an question that Latvia did not have an answer for. Maybe Eunha was over her crush, or maybe not because she knows her friend. Eunha has always been a little boy crazy.
"Forget about them. Because Cy told me he could have hooked you up with one of his friends, but no you ready made plans" Eunha said as she looked the other way, pretending she was mad.
Latvia chuckled softly, "no I really had plans, a co-worker and I just went to the park and hung out here. We had a great time until we walked into he-who-must-not-be-named".
Eunha was all ears, and Latvia knew that if it was possible, then Eunha would have been eating popcorn during their conversation.
"Well what happened" Eunha said interested.
"Well he was bugging me and being mean like asking me if I was just pretending to be over him to get his attention, so then my date saved me and we just pretended to be a couple. I don't know but when I saw my ex, I didn't feel anything. Not even anger or anything- every emotion I had for him was gone, it was almost as if he was a stranger".
Latvia looked down at the pavement as she thought back, she was glad Z had been there to save her from her ex. It was also the last thing she was expecting to happen.
"So you've completely moved on? Then how about the date? Is it serious? What is his name?" her friend asked her curiously.
But she answered by putting a finger on her lips as she winked, "that's my secret for now".
She resisted all of her friends pouts as she kept her word.
Latvia wanted to keep Z a secret for now, or else Eunha would visit him when he's working.
