It was her day off today and she would have liked it if she could have spend the morning of it in bed. However her brother had a different plan, he had pulled the sheets off of her bed early in the morning and started to sing Hakuna Matata in German.
She had no idea where he had learned how to speak German or why, and even he didn't have an answer why he learned it- he just claimed that he liked the language so that's why he learned it. At least he was doing something with his free time.
An hour later and some breakfast settling in her stomach, they were off for the stores. Her brother told her he needed some Red Bulls and gum- the two items he would sell her for if needed.
"Was willst du essen" Levi asked as he threw some bags of chips in their basket.
"I don't speak German" Latvia replied as she slapped her brother on the back of his head, "be normal for once okay".
Levi just chuckled as he ruffled up her hair- which is one of the perks of being taller then his sister.
But even though they always teased each other, they knew that the other would always have their back. Levi claimed it was because they're twins, that's why he could feel when something was wrong with her.
When Latvia came home after her 'date' with Z, Levi had asked her if something happened- since he felt that something was wrong. That's the moment she told him that they had run into her ex.
Just like Z, Levi got upset and wanted to leave after hearing his sister's story- but she stopped him and told him that the boy wasn't worth it.
"Anyway I asked you what you wanted to eat" Levi said as he grabbed a pancake mix from the top shelf, smirking at her.
It was his way of showing his sister that she needs him while grocery shopping, since he can reach the top shelf. It always made Latvia wonder why her brother is so much taller then she is, and why she is so small.
"Let's just go with pizza, I don't feel like cooking" she told her brother with a yawn.
He snickered softly, "sis you do realise that it's still morning right?".
Latvia looked at her brother and then around her as she realised it was pretty quiet for late in the day. Her mind was playing tricks on her and that's why she thought it was already this late, but she didn't know why her mind was so messed up.
She lightly scratched a part behind her ear as she gave her brother sheepish smile, "yeah I knew that, I was just trying to figure out if you're paying attention right now".
But her brother knows her longer then today and he knew she was pretending.
"Sis, do you have a crush?" he asked her as he put one hand on his hip with a big grin on his face.
Latvia's eyes widened as she looked at her brother, "what? Yuck no I don't have a crush" she told him defensively. Without another word she walked away from him- feeling embarrassed.
Levi chuckled softly as he walked after his twin, "you're such a liar little sis".
