for: my love rhys.''Rhys, come on I haven't got all day!'' Ana shouted to her.
''I'll meet you there!'' Rhys shouted back. She still had a lot of food left over and there was no way she was leaving it to go to waste.
Rhys watched the different cliques in the cafeteria, secretly hating on each one. Her least favourite had to be the jocks. Crowding around one another; bouncing off of each other's horrific egos.
Rhys wasn't the most popular, but she liked it that way. She was in a small group of people whom she loved and wanted the best for.
Her eyes scanned the remainder of the cafeteria, stopping on a certain boy. She's never exchanged eye contact with him, let alone spoken to him.
He was a mystery to everyone. His name was Danny, Danny Pope. A peaceful and quiet character, every girl thought he was gorgeous. But, nobody had the pleasure of knowing what he was actually like.
Danny kept to himself; increasing the curiosity of those who knew him. Especially Rhys.
Once she had finished consuming her the delicious remainder of her lunch, she went to put her tray on the side. Suddenly, it clashed with someone else's.
''Oh shit, oh god sorry. I'm such a clutz.'' Rhys looked up to make actual eye contact with Danny for the first time. His gorgeous eyes gleamed in the bright lights of the cafeteria; Rhys was mesmerised by the beauty of them.
''It's okay.'' He said quietly; a small smile playing upon his lips as he picked up his tray.
Before Rhys could try and continue a conversation, Danny had already ran off. She sighed and continued to go to her music class.
She was greeted by the sight of Ana with her girlfriend, Margot outside the classroom. ''Come on, lovebirds. Class awaits us.'' Rhys rolled her eyes jokingly at the love struck pair.
''Blame Ana, she just can't keep her hands off of me.'' Margot winked playfully, kissing Ana once more before they held hands to walk into class.
Rhys admired Ana and Margot's relationship. They didn't care about anybody's opinions; their love is all that mattered to them and that conquered all.
''Are you coming to the bar after school? Maria's working tonight.'' Margot chuckled, her arm wrapped around Ana.
''She finally got the job! Yeah course I'll come.''
Rhys began tapping her pen on the desk, boredom taking over as the teacher asked people to demonstrate their skills.
The whole class sat in shock as they saw Danny raise from his seat, walking towards the piano. He had never raised his hand, nor done anything like this in class before.
Everyone sat silently listening to the beautiful sounds that Danny was producing. His fingertips were the gateway to music heaven as they glided delicately on the keys of the piano.
He played for practically the entire class, his emotion was shown through his passion for the song he was playing.
The bell rang and the majority of the students left the class.
''Rhys, you coming?'' Ana whispered in her ear, trying not to interrupt Danny.
''I'll come to the bar, I'll catch up with you guys okay?'' Ana nodded in response and walked off with Margot.
Rhys sat quietly; admiring Danny play till he came to a slow end. She was truly fixated on the way the rhythm flowed, how every touch of his fingers to a key created a sound so unique.
