13: Social Media

Marco's POV
The night Star left Earth, I took out my phone and hopped in bed.
I looked at the photo Star and I took on the Ferris wheel.
So, I decided to post it on my social media account.
I put a filter on the photo and I typed the caption, which was very simple, a heart.

"<3"

After I did that, I put my phone on my bedside table and drifted off to sleep.

Beep.

Beep.

"Ugh, morning already?" I said, trying to make my alarm stop by slapping it.

I sat on my bed and took my phone.
I had so many notifications from what I posted last night.
I opened the app and saw I had 64 likes on it.
"Geez, I never had this much likes in a while." I said.
There were 34 comments.

I read some of them.

JannaBanana07: Is my ship sailing?!
KingFergon: Is that Star's hand you're holding?
Starfan13: I hope so Ferguson!
JannaBanana07: Who else would it be?!
Shelly_Kelly: Oh my gawd it's happening!!

I put my phone down and went to the bathroom to get ready for school.

When I went downstairs, I saw mom and dad already downstairs.
"Oh, morning Marco!" My mom said.

She grabbed a bowl for me and I poured some of my favorite cereal.

After I was done eating, I grabbed my backpack and went outside to walk to school.

"Bye guys!" I told them, while closing the door.

Walking to school alone is something I still have to get used to now.

When I arrived, many people were staring at me again.
I was walking to benches so I can wait for the bell to ring.
Then, Janna stopped me.
"So, is that Star in your photo?" She asked.
"Okay. Yes it is. If you guys are curious where she is now, she left Earth." I said.
Some people gasped at that.

"But, why?" Janna asked. "Long distance relationship now, huh?"
"Yeah, I guess. She left Earth because her mom found out she got badly hurt by a enemy of hers."

"Oh. But aren't you upset she left?" Janna said.
"I am, but I know she's safe on Mewni so I guess I'll be fine." I told her.

"Well, good luck dude." Janna said. She then sprinted off.

Star's POV
"Morning, sweetie. Did you sleep well?" My mom said, sitting down on my bed.
I sat up and yawned.
"Yeah."

"Today we're going to meet up some of your aunts, uncles and cousins. They've missed you very much!" She said, going through my closet.

"Want to wear this today?" My mom said, holding up a simple purple dress with lace.
"Okay."

When I got dressed, I went downstairs to eat some breakfast.

"Morning, Star!" My dad said.
"Hey, dad."

"You might want to hurry up. Your cousins are very excited to meet you again. They have planned a fun day so all of you can bond again!" He said.
