Surprise Me | Peter Parker x Reader {Book Two}

Chapter 1

Y/n smiled at her children, then continued to tell the story of how she and Peter had ended up where they are now. "So after I agreed to date your father, he ran downstairs to tell Aunt May the news. Of course, Aunt May was very smart and knew from the start that we would get together."

"Mommy," M/d/n (Middle daughter's name), spoke up, interrupting Y/n's story telling. "I-is Aunt May... Grandma May?" She asked. Aunt May was Peter's aunt, but she was the only parent figure the two had, so she became a grandparent of the three children, even that wasn't her true blood position in the family. Y/n nodded, then was just about to continue, when a noise sounded throughout the room.

The mother turned to look at the large grandfather clock sitting in the corner of the room, and chuckled. "Oops, sorry kids. It's already late." All three of the children groaned in unison, causing both adults to laugh.

"But Mom." S/n (Son's name) dragged out the nickname the children had given Y/n. Y/n smiled down at her son, joyfully and lovingly. She picked up the boy, only to just stand and place him on her hip, the way that mothers do with her children.

"Oh, you're getting to be a big boy." She said, causing the little boy to giggle. She took her oldest daughter's hand and began to guide them to their bedrooms. She glanced back just in time to watch her husband bend down in front of their second daughter, and pick her up in his arms. The sight brought a smile to the woman's face. The sound of s/n yawning, made her return to real life and continue walking down the hallway. She let go of her daughter's hand as they passed o/d/n's room, allowing her to walk inside.

Y/n continued on and carried her son into his room that he shared with his older sister, m/d/n. Just as Y/n was placing her son on his bed, Peter walked in, carrying their daughter. Peter bent down and placed m/d/n on her bed, then proceeded to fold her covers on top of her. Once the two parents were sure that their children were okay and that it was safe for them to leave the room, they turned and switched the lights off.

Y/n exited the room first, then Peter, who closed the door behind himself. Just as he turned, he saw his wife begin to walk towards hallway closet. Before she could open the closet door, a web shot itself towards her and wrapped around the woman. She squeaked in surprise when she was suddenly pulled into her husband's arms.

"Peter!" She whispered, making the man smile. "Peter, I have to leave, Fury isn't going to be as lenient as last time." Peter chuckled quietly while resting his chin on his wife's shoulder. His grip around his torso tightened.

"I know, but am I not allowed to give my beautiful wife a hug and kiss before she goes to work. I hardly get to see you anymore." He whines.

"You are allowed, and I know. This is what happens when two people with powers get married and work at different times of the day."

"Why does life have to hate me so much?" Peter asked, while pulling his wife over to the couch, where they both fall on top of it.

"Maybe because life is jealous of the both of us having amazing soul mates." Y/n said before placing a kiss to her husband's lips. Peter pretended to have a thinking face as he looked away at the ceiling. He hummed before looking back at his lover, with a smile plastered on both of their faces.

"Yeah, that seems about right." This made his wife laugh.

"Sorry Peter, I'll see you in the morning." Y/n said. She pried Peter's arms off of her, allowing her to stand up and go back over to the closet. She glanced at her husband and smiled lovingly, before looking back at the closet and opening it. She pushing aside many hangers, then grabbed one that seemed to be hidden by the other. She pulled out a white hanger that was holding a black cloak.

Peter stood up and helped his wife put the cloak on. "Bye sweetie." He mumbled before kissing his wife. Y/n murmured a bye, then waved her hand over the wall, creating a portal. She smiled at her husband again, then walked through the portal, only to arrive on the helicarrier.

Peter sighed contently, remembering his life before he married to love of his life.
