Peter smiles again, lovingly. "God, you are so perfect." He whispers, making me blush again. I giggle, and look away, still keeping my forehead leaning against his. He reached up and cupped my cheek, making me look back at him. He placed a quick peck to my lips.
"I love you so much." He murmured.
"I love you." I reply.
~The Next Morning~
I stood in the kitchen at the stove, making breakfast for my husband and children. Suddenly, I heard the doorbell ring. Occupied with the food, I call out to my spouse.
"Peter! Can you get the door!" I called. I heard his muffled reply before he slides into the kitchen. He gave me a quick kiss on the forehead before walking to the front door. I tried to look to see who it was, but the door was just right out of my line of sight. I heard Peter and another voice strike up a conversation before Peter invited them into the house.
"UNCLE TONY!" I heard my oldest child as she and her six year old sister ran into the living room, their brother slowly trailing behind them. I smile widely as I place my cooking utensils down to greet our visitor.
"Tony!" I exclaim as I enter the living room. The man looks up and smiles at me, opening his arms to greet me. I walk forward, loosely wrap my arms around the man and giving him a light peck on the cheek. As soon as we let go of each other, Tony was immediately attacked by the kids.
"AHHHH!" He yelled out in fake hurt. "It's an army!" He exclaimed, making me giggle. Peter walked up behind me and wrapped an arm around my waist. I leaned into him as we watched Peter's parental figure play with the kids. Finally the children had run out of energy and had climbed off of the playboy philanthropist, letting him get to his feet. He brushed the nonexistent dust off of his sleeves and pants before he turned to me and Peter.
"Pete, are you sure you don't want a bigger house?" He offered as he smirked. Peter only chuckled while I faked offence.
"What? Is my homey house not enough for you Mr. I need a house in every possible city?" I asked, quirking an eyebrow. The millionaire only rolls his eyes at my response. I grabbed my purse and approached the front door with my husband by my side. "Thank you so much Tony, it means so much to us that you can look after the kids. Peter and I have been so stressed and need a day to ourselves." I tell him and he only gives a small smile and nods, silently saying 'you're welcome'. I give him a grateful smile an exit my home with Peter behind me, his hand on my back as he closes the door with his other hand. I take a breath of the fresh air as I close my eyes. My eyes snap open when Peter speaks.
"What should our mode of transportation be today? Webs, portal, or car?"
Calmly, I respond. "Let's walk. I want to take advantage of this nice day." Peter gives me a loving smile a nods as he grabs my hand and entangles his fingers with mine. We walk side by side to the mall, silently, and enjoying the walk.
"Remember our first date?" Peter suddenly asks, causing me to look up at him.
"How could I forget? It's not often that the Black Widow is hurled through the window of a coffee shop, in front of you, during a date."
