One day, while Millie and I sat down park bench, she popped a question.

"Do you think I should join a ballet competition?"

"Of course! I mean, if you want to." I replied shoving my hands into my pockets.

She beamed at me. The butterflies never seem to leave me around her.

Then, her smile faltered.

"What's wrong?"I asked.

"I- it's nothing."

She looked down at the concrete sidewalk.

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah."

I assumed she didn't want to talk about her emotions, so I changed the subject.

"So when is this ballet competition?"

She snapped out of her dreary daze.

"Well, first I have to audition, so I don't know if I'll make it. If I do get accepted, we'll be flying to L.A. 2 weeks from now."

I faltered a bit. Los Angeles was really far from here, and I doubt that my mom would allow me to spend that much money just to see Millie perform.

"I know you'll make it."

I gave her reassuring smile. She grinned back at me.

I won't lie-

I wanted to kiss her.

Oooo finnyyyy

Also I might have a new book up soon so look out for that!! :)
