I awoke to a finger poking my nose.

I smiled, knowing full-well who it was.

"Millie, I swear if you poke me one more time." I said, my eyes still closed.

I heard her giggle, then she poked me one more time.

"Alright, you asked for it."

I opened my eyes and started to poke her stomach.

"AHH Finn stop that tickles!" She exclaimed, hugging her sides so that I couldn't poke her.

Ding!

"We are now here at the LAX. You may proceed to get your luggages." The pilot announced.

Millie looked at me excitedly, then bounced up to get our things.

"We're finally in L.A. Finn! Can you imagine?"

I chuckled at her enthusiasm and nodded. She was like a little ray of sunshine.

------

We finally arrived at the hotel. We plopped our luggages on the floor and decided to relax.

Millie face-planted on the bed.

"I love hotels." She said, her voice muffled by the pillow. I laughed.

"Millie, you have to go to ballet rehearsals today for the big show." Her mom called out from the kitchen.

"Coming!" She yelled in reply, accompanied by a groan afterwards.

"I wish we could rest first." Millie whined.

I gave her a pout and patted her shoulder.

"Come on, let's get ready." I told her, getting up from her bed.

Millie grabbed my hand, making me fall back onto the comforter.

"Oh no Finnigan, you're staying in the hotel."

"What? Why?"

"Because, I'm not allowing you to see my performance just yet."

"Millllsssss."

"Finnnnnn."

"Fine."

She smiled at me, kissed my forehead, then bolted off to change.

As soon as she was in her leotard and such, she waved goodbye to me.

"Mum said you could walk around, but don't go too far, I don't want to loose you!" Millie yelled before exiting the hotel room.

"Alright Mom!" I chuckled whilst shaking my head.

short, once again. (I promise the next chapters will be much longer my loves!) Also this book is getting so much good feedback, I love to read all of the comments they make my day and smile 'till my cheeks hurt.
