Finn's POV
Today was the day. Well, for real this time. I checked the calendar."Honey, don't keep the Browns waiting!" I heard my Mom yell from downstairs.
"Coming!"
I stuffed an extra shirt that I had forgotten to pack yesterday hurriedly before dragging my luggage downstairs.
I was met by Millie, who was sitting on the living room couch.
She immediately got up.
"You ready?" She asked.
I nodded in response.
"Well, Ms. Wolfhard we'll be on our way now." Millie said.
"Oh of course. Goodbye!"
She hugged Millie, then she hugged me.
"You kids have fun! Oh, but don't do anything too daring." She winked at us, making Millie and I blush and avert our eyes to the ground.
"Well, goodbye!" Millie waved as we exited our house.
"Sorry, my mom." I murmured under my breath.
She just laughed. "It's fine."
----
I looked out of the window on the airplane. We hadn't taken off yet, but I was still nervous.
Millie must've seen it, for she squeezed my hand.
"It's alright, Finn. We'll be fine."
I squeezed it back, then smiled at her.
Woo this was short but kinda cute I guess. Also 'Ephemeral' is coming to an end soon so if you read my status book, you'll know that I'll be publishing another fillie book after :)
