"I will show you a couple rooms so you can pick the one you like best." Rebekah told Caroline while opening the front door.

"They all look pretty similar, but I think it's still nice for you to choose." she said shrugging her shoulders, walking up the stairs with Caroline following behind her.

"No I think I'll just do that." Klaus said appearing.

"Nik, I'm showing her the rooms." she stated determined, her hand on her hip.

"Why don't you go annoy Elijah or perhaps Kol, he could arrive" he looked at his watch "any minute now."

"What? I thought he was coming back next week." she sighed "I'm going to my room then." she said walking away.

"What? Why? I thought that y-" Caroline started.

"Hiding. Kol is annoying, I don't want to see him." she simply stated before walking away.

"Kol threatened one of her playthings before he left." Klaus explained as he read her confused expression.

"Playthings?"

"Dan, a human guy that she would probably be over in a month anyways." he replied.

"Hey..You don't know that." she said with a serious look "but why did Kol threaten him?"

"The poor guy obviously didn't know about our status. He made Kol angry, he said some rude things..Not really anything special, but Kol has a quick temper. Let's say that Dan isn't around anymore, he ran away like any coward would.." he explained.

"It seems like the drama in your family hasn't stopped...What about Rebekah?"

"Rebekah was left alone, never heard from him ever since. She was not hurt since she barely knew the guy, she was just annoyed because Kol ruined a possible romance as she so called it." he said "don't worry about it, let's pick a room now shall we." he smiled.

They entered the first room.

"So I started with my personal favorite guest room. It is the biggest one in the house, you have your own walk in closet and your own bathroom." he said pointing at two doors.

Caroline opened one of the doors. Behind it was a walk in closet, almost as big as the actual bedroom.

"Wow.." she gasped "I never thought that I would be saying this...But I don't think that I have enough clothes to fit in here." she laughed "I guess you're going to have to take me shopping."

"Are you asking me on a date?" he teased stepping closer to her.

"No" she quickly denied "I am simply suggesting to go on a friendly shopping spree."

"A friendly shopping spree? Really love?" he laughed.

"I would love too." he said softly putting a strand of her hair behind her ear, looking deeply in her eyes.

She fake coughed "good." She was nervous when he came so close to her like that, but she tried to hide it as much she could.

She slowly backed away and opened the other door, revealing a beautiful bathroom.

"You don't have to show any other rooms, this one will do." she giggled.

"Good. It has one more advantage.." he smirked "Your room is right next to mine."

"What a coincidence.." she said rolling her eyes, but smiling.

"I'M BACK!" they heard a familiar voice followed by a loud door slam.

"Wait here." Klaus whispered to Caroline before walking downstairs.

"Hello Kol! How was your trip?" Klaus asked.

"Very good, but enough with the chit chat..Where is our dear sister?" Kol asked tilting his head.

"Why? Feeling guilty?"

Kol rolled his eyes "no, but as the compassionate and nice man I am..I would like to apologize."

"Are you bloody serious?" Rebekah spat walking downstairs.

"Were you listening to our conversation? That's not really nice sister..." Kol said shaking his head.

"Shut it Kol, you are the absolute opposite of what you just said." she said.

"That hurt." he said sarcastically.
