"(Y/N)! Wake up! Look what I found!" The incessant banging of Sam's giant hand on your door did not faze you in the least bit. Tony, however, was pulled out of his sleep; and very rudely at that. He groaned sleepily and rubbed his eyes as he made his way to the door. "Will you two keep it down!? She had a temperature last night and is still asleep!" He shrieked, but in a whisper.

Without saying a single word, Dean pushed past Tony and took a seat by your bedside, as if his presence would somehow cause a miracle, healing you at once. His fingers ghosted over your cheek and your eyes fluttered open, acknowledging his touch.

"Hey there. How're you feelin'?" Dean didn't know why it was that he cared so much, but at the moment he was doing everything he could to prevent you from hearing the violent thumping of his heart.

"I'm fine." You scoffed, "I heal about five times faster than your harebrained kind." Your belittling humor was physical evidence that you were, in fact, thriving.

"Yeah, she's alright." Sam hopped onto your bed and placed his laptop in your lap, "I found a vampire case for us to work on."

"Wh-what? Wait, a vam-, what?" Tony stuttered. So they are real!

"Remember how you said you would take him on a vampire hunt? Which you never did?" Sam was bubbling with excitement. So were you. "Oh my gosh... Tony..."

Stark was looking at Dean for help, and he didn't know how to feel about that. "For the record, I do not stand with any of this." The elder Winchester spoke with a straight face. "I'm just coming along to ensure no one dies."

-

Steve took comfort in gazing into your golden eyes and at the sparkling swirls that danced between your fingers before disappearing into Bucky's skin. A strange thought entered his mind - Tony Stark did have it all. Fame, money and now, you. Envy conquered Steve Rogers.

"You feel any different?" The timbre of your voice was almost unrecognizable.

"Not really." Bucky pouted nonchalantly, "You like cotton candy? Back in the day, Steve and I went to this town fair and they had the fluffiest cotton candy ever. I don't know where they sell them now so, could you take me, doll?" He winked.

"No different at all. Chills, soldier." You japed.

-

"We leave in ten (Y/N)!" Sam's voice reverberated through the tower.

"You, uh, going somewhere?" Steve forced a smile, a gesture he found himself doing quite often when around you lately, just so you wouldn't know something was off.

"Yeah, Sam, Dean, Tony and I are going on a...on a uh....coming!" You responded to a call that wasn't even made and took quick steps out of the room. How were you supposed to tell them you were about to kill vampires?

"You know the four of them are up to no good right?" Bucky asked as he watched you leave.

"Yeah, but (Y/N) can take care of the situation if anything goes wrong. Not that anything will go wrong. You know what I'm saying?" Not to interfere unnecessarily, a lesson Steve learned from the last time you were out with the same people.

"Mmhmm. So which car do you want to follow them in?"

-

Dean jutted his blade deep into a vampire's thigh, deep enough to distract it so you could swipe your machete and separate it's head from the rest of it's body.
