Dating Tony Stark had turned out to be something you had never imagined - wonderful. Sure, you had your fair share of fights, the pitches of which would let everyone in the tower know you had come over, the two of you could never stay apart for long.
The tabloids were flooded with news of Tony Stark and his new girlfriend, the perks of which included but weren't limited to an increase of your overall worth in the news job market.
"Hey (Y/N)?" Tony asked, gently stroking your hair. "Hmm?" You replied, tracing circles on the rim of his arc reactor, mesmerized by the blue glow radiating from it. "You ever think about joining the team?" He was determined to make more use of your powers than you would ever care to.
"No, not really. Although, it seems like a pretty sweet gig. Why?" You sat up and Tony did as well. He even got out of bed, put his shoes on and walked out of the room as he talked, "I'm glad you feel that way because you have to be in the training room in the next twenty minutes. You may or may not have a new job to look forward to."

You were standing in the fighting arena, clad in your sports outfit, ready to spar with Natasha. You had already went against Clint in archery, which he was still upset about. When your arrow split his arrow in half at the target and your next arrow split the former in four, Hawkeye had declared you a witch and walked out, up to the gantry from where everyone else was watching, where he sat, sulking.
He wasn't entirely wrong. Your vast range of powers included adaptation, meaning you could conform to any trick, skill or ability you came across, matching the level of precision within a matter of seconds. At the moment, you were about to use Natasha's skills against her.
At first, it was just dodging her moves but when you switched to offense, Natasha Romanoff knew she had met her match. Not that she'd admit it though. Ever.
A few minutes later, she was on the ground, hands twisted behind her back, your knee digging into her shoulder blade. "I'm tapping out." She panted and you held out your hand for her to take, which she readily accepted. "Who'd you learn from?"
"Only the best." You smirked.
Next, you found yourself pitted against Steve, who did not look like he wanted to fight you at all. "Come on, Steve. Of all people, you know what I can do." You reassured and he just replied with a nod.
He had seemed lost for quite a while now, and regardless of the fact that you didn't know why, now certainly wasn't the time to find out. You could feel him pulling his punches and as expected, you won, without a real fight.
"Go (Y/N)!!" Tony was cheering from the balcony. "Dude, you're supposed to be on our side." Nope. Clinton Barton wasn't a sore loser at all.
"Yeah, well, she makes me happier." Tony shrugged.
"I still cannot read you." You turned around upon hearing Wanda's voice. Clearly, she wasn't used to staying out of people's heads.
A spark of red hit your feet and you immediately stepped back, looking up at her in shock.
"I forgot to ask, powers or no powers?" Her eyes lit up for long enough to instill her fear in you, something she was accustomed to doing to all her victims. If only it worked on you.
"Powers." You struck your hand out and golden swirls knocked her off her feet.
You let go. You let the disguise fall off and changed into your real self - your Winged form. Your sports outfit was now a floor length sleeveless beige dress that flowed down to your ankles, adorned with bronze bejeweled strips running just above your chest and over your waist. A slit ran right in the center between the two strips with an intricate chain running along it, which then split into two and sat on either side of your waist in three distinct layers. Another slit ran up your right leg, up to your upper thigh.
Armlets embellished your arms and a piece of ornament intertwined its way from the mid thigh to the mid calf of your exposed leg. A pendant like headband decorated your forehead. You spread your wings out and lifted yourself into the air - they were large and intimidating, to say the least; they also resembled the apex of your scepter.
Wanda was gawking at you after she managed to get back on her wobbly feet, which was nothing different than what the rest of the team was doing.
You seemed like something brought to life from folklore - a force to which someone would willingly surrender control. Which you were. You went offensive against Wanda the moment your feet touched the ground and she quickly retaliated.
The room was raging with red and gold, resembling the winds right before they spread into a tornado.
"What are you doing here?" Sam was puzzled at the appearance of a certain man. "I was called by some dumb, ignorant, stupid, idiot, white guy." The man replied.
"Fury, thanks for coming in." Tony was wheezing on account of all the excitement he had recently taken in. Sam lowered his head so no one would call him out on his cackling.
"So, where's this girl you have been telling me so much about?" Fury questioned. "You have to meet her. She's like nothing you have ever seen." Tony led him to the balcony from where he could see you in action.
You had disengaged attack as soon as you heard Fury's voice. Spreading your wings, you let them take you to him.
"Ah! Nicholas, it's been a while." You greeted. Recognition ran through his features. "You?"
"You two know each other?" Natasha spoke for everyone. "Yes, me." You then answered the latter question, "Nicholas here, along with his miniscule band of dimwits, has been attempting to find me for a long time. Quite a failure, I must say."
"I was hoping we could work together as friends, since we're already on the same side." Fury wasn't about to back down. "No offense, Fury, but being your friend is about just as much fun as being kicked in the guts by a donkey." You deadpanned.
"I like her." Bucky whispered and earned a few nods.
"Miss (L/N)" Fury offered you a manila folder, "Welcome to the Avengers Initiative."
