Twenty-sixth chapter;

Friday night (PROMDAY)

Nina

I came home after school and ate something. Then I looked at the clock. It was already 5 o'clock. I only have got two hours left to make myself ready. Luckely I already took a shower before I ate something. Xavi will already be here at 7, he texted me. He didn't want to miss a single thing. I took a quick look in the mirror. ≪How am I supposed to make this look pretty?≫ I questioned myself. I decided to start off with my make up.

I did something natural, but different. My eyeshadow had a silver colour and my eyebrows were done too, like they always are. My lips were pink and the rest of my face was done like normal people do their face. With foundation and all that stuff. I took of my glasses and tried to put in my eyelids. I looked in the mirror once again. ≪Wow, I actually look kinda pretty.≫ I thought.

I also painted my nails. They were silver so they would match my eyeshadow perfectly. ≪Delfi is probably going to look much prettier than me. So why am I even trying?≫

My hair... How is my hair supposed to look? Uhm, maybe I''ll just make some crulls at the bottom of my hair and keep it that way. After that was done I took a quick look in the mirror. Again it was simple, but it looked kinda dangerous. Should I really go like that? Will Gaston, uhm Xavi still like me? I took a look at the clock. "06:15" oh I gotta hurry up a bit.

My dress. The long white sparkling dress was hanging at the top of my wardrobe and ended at the floor of room. I chose a long white promdress. I really wanted to look like, I don't know, a princess. Maybe it sounds stupid.

Ten minutes later, I was finally wearing my dress. ≪Wow, is this really me?≫ I thought while I was taking a final look into my mirror. I put on my silver earrings, necklace and bracelet. Now I still have to put on my silver heels and I'm done. I was ready, I worked hard for this prom and now I will enjoy it. With or without Gaston, I don't care. Xavi likes me and we'll have a bunch of fun.

The bell started ringing and I heard my mother walking to the front door. I heard Xavi's voice, I was ready to go. ≪Nina! Xavi is here!≫ My mother shouted at the top of her lungs. I walked down the stairs and I saw Xavi and my mother standing in the hall. My mom was taking pictures of me, I don't know why. Xavi's mouth went open and his eyes became big.

≪Nina? You're so beautiful.≫ Xavi said. ≪I totally agree with you, my little princess looks like a real queen.≫ I heard my mother saying proudly. When I finally reached them, Xavi gave me a kiss on my cheeck. My mother still wanted to make a few pictures of the two of us. ≪Let's go, my car is outside.≫ Xavi said. He took my hand and we walked outside. He opened his car door and I tried to get in there as elegant as possible. With that long dress it was very hard.

When I finally achieved getting inside the car, Xavi closed my door and went the other way to get in the car too. My mother waved one last time and then closed the door. ≪Nina, I'm pretty sure I'll have the prettiest date tonight.≫ Xavi whispered and he kissed my hand. Then he started his car and drove to Blake.

I was ready, I was oh so ready. Nothing could ruin this night. It will be perfect! I'm sure about that.

I didn't plan to publish this chapter today, but I'm almost going on holiday and I'd love to finish "PROM" before I go. I still have got a few chapters to write and I only have got two/three days so I need to hurry up. I don't want you guys to wait a whole week until I continue writing, so I'll post more chapter at once from now.
