"Authorities have asked all members of the public not to panic under the current circumstances. The letter left by the Moxley killer has clearly stated the murder from Friday night was in fact not him. The head investigators on the case are taking into account there may be a copy cat killer now stalking the Vegas streets. We shall cut to the press conference now for the police chiefs statement"...."I can confirm another Victim was found Saturday evening with a note from the Moxley killer. We are taking into consideration Fridays victim was in effect attacked by a copy cat however this has not been confirmed. The Moxley killer suggested in his note found with Saturdays victim that each time the copy cat kills in Moxley' name he will kill another victim at random. Patrols will be placed on the streets of Vegas starting from tonight. All civilians should notice a rise in stop and searches to ensure public safety. The Saturdays victims identity has been confirmed. This vicious murder was not linked to any other of the victims. A random attack possibly in response to the copy cat impersonating Moxley. The state is funding free self defence training for all female civilians and a short hour course that will focus around using pepper spray effectively during an attack. It is our job to ensure public safety. If at all you are in fear and think the killer is close to you, are in fear of being attacked or have any suspicions that someone you may know is the Moxley killer or his possible copy cat we urge you to come forward and pass on any details you may have".

I couldn't believe some of the things that were coming out from the weekend just before. It was now Friday afternoon and they was only speaking out about this now. It was terrifying to think of two killers. One who knew what he was doing and had been for so long without being caught. A second now copying the killer but had killed a victim at random. I felt a little safe knowing I was only in contact with very few people in Vegas. Dean had made me promise I wouldn't go anywhere alone in the evenings. He now picked me up from work, even if just to drive me and home then go back home himself. He had become extremely protective of me. I was flattered he was going out of his way to make sure I was at least safe but a little on edge at the same time at how intense he had become with said protection. I never questioned him. Lisa thought it was adorable. She said I should be grateful someone was even taking the time to do this for me. Herself, my parents and my friends back home had got news of the killings. It was being broadcast across England also. The victim from Saturday was rumoured to be British. She was married, not the usual profile for Moxleys victims. No name had been given. It also happened in the afternoon. Early afternoon. I knew everyone would be scared knowing now things had escalated. Nobody was safe except for the male population. Tonight was the night a party was being held in honour of Roman and another CEO for holding down a business deal that had tripled the companies profits. I now had a position along with kai that meant we were expected to attend also. As far as I knew Dean was busy finishing a bike for another buyer. I hadn't bothered asking him to be my date for the event. I was told at last minute to attend by invitation. Roman hadn't been in all day. He was going straight to the party from visiting relatives. Not wanting to go against my promise to Dean I asked Kai if he could pick me up. I was ready, a black knee length dress with lace covering the opaque fabric. My black jimmy choo heels were plain also but I had to look sophisticated. Not over the top.

I took one last look to make sure my hair and makeup was just so. I got a text from Kai in that instant to tell me he was downstairs waiting for me. I quickly grabbed my phone and small clutch bag. Rushing down to not make him wait I left a light on to make it look like someone was inside. Something I made habit of when going out at night even in England. Just as I got into Kais car I realised I had left my laptop up and running. I hesitated to go back up to shut it off but Kai started driving before even acknowledging me. "You look nice" He smirked keeping his eyes on the road. "Thank you" I returned, settling back in my seat and deciding a laptop wouldn't exactly cause a house fire. Or so I hoped. "You do too. Very handsome" I complimented. Kai wasn't exactly a masculine hunk. He was handsome in his own little nerdy way. He had looks but his glasses made him look like a bit of a geek. It was adorable. I knew a few women back at the office had crushes on him at some time or another. Or so I had been told. It helped he was a nice person to go along with his looks. He was very serious about his work which made me think he probably didn't have time for a girlfriend. "Your boyfriend won't mind me taking you to the party will he?" I glanced across to Kai shaking my head no, a strange look on my face as to why he would even think that. "Good" He sighed out. "He is a little scary when he comes to pick you up. I'm sure he isn't just looking at me when he stands at the office door. Between you and me he is a bit intimidating" I laughed at Kais statement. I could see why he would think that. "He's a teddy bear. Seriously. Dean is actually really soft. He just has resting i'm gonna kill you face all the time". Kai nervously laughed at my reassurance. I got the feeling many men in the office felt on edge to be seen anywhere close to me when Dean walked in. I was sure they just misunderstood his mannerisms.
