"Four more bodies throughout the week have been discovered. The Moxley killer has left more letters claiming the three victims he had taken are in retaliation to the copy cat killer. One Meagan Miller is suspected to be a possible copy killer victim. There is not yet confirmation if there truly is a copy cat killer or if this is a game the Moxley killer is playing to throw investigators off his trail. The other three Victims have been named as Dayna Hope, Michelle Bingham and Kai Davidson. The first male in Moxleys long list of victims. Kai was the only victim to have been attacked in his own home. Investigators have confirmed his home had forced entry at approximately 2am and he was stabbed to death while he slept in his bed. Earlier that night Kai had been to a work event party. Nothing is known about the conditions of why Kai Davidson was targeted. Investigators say there is a long road ahead to make clear why and who the Moxley killer may target next".
Shock. That was what we all was feeling when the news just four days ago updated the victims names. Kai being one of them. The night we went to the work party he went home, went to bed and later in the night was killed in cold blood. I had never known anyone who had died before. I never expected to ever know anyone who would be murdered. The news was announced Monday night and now it was Friday. Kai had been killed a week ago and it hadn't truly sunk in yet. I may not have known him long but I knew him and I had worked with him, I appreciated him as a colleague and a person. I was frightened that a victim was so close to home. I never expected it, nobody did. Leaving work from having a small remembrance gathering I was glad to get home. I decided to check my emails which I had neglected since the day of the party. After scanning through junk after junk email I froze when I came to one from my alert security box. I clicked it open, feeling more confused with what it said. 'Confirmation selected emails were sent to a printer. Click the link below to view emails sent to printer.' I frowned seeing the time and date matched to the time I would have been at the work party. Clicking on said link I was more confused to find the emails were missing. I say missing but the message that came up on my screen told me said emails had been deleted. I then backed out of that message. Going back to my emails I scanned through to try and see if I could tell what emails were missing. I honestly couldn't remember. I didn't really use my email all that much unless I really had to. I sat deep in thought. My email never alerted me to being logged in through another device. That meant this was done through my laptop. I became wide eyed when I remembered coming back home to my door being open. My eyes trailed to my front door realising someone had in fact got in to my apartment and did nothing but go into my email, print specific emails then they deleted them.
I felt worried right then. Why would they have left my door open and my light on knowing I would see someone had entered? I could remember the next day my emails being up. It only just clicked then I didn't leave them up. My laptop was accidentally left on but I had shut down all pages and opened docs earlier that afternoon. The possibility they was scared off came to mind. Someone may have disturbed them. Why would someone break in just to print emails? I then became determined to search my emails thoroughly. I had to know what emails they took copies of. None of my banking or paypal emails had gone. I cross referenced with all my buying accounts such as amazon and ebay to see if anything I bought had an email missing. After an hour of checking every possibility I found myself stumped. I just couldn't figure out what emails they had taken. The more I sat and stared at my screen the more unsafe I felt being in my apartment alone then...Kai's emails. I remembered out of nowhere when I first moved to America and even just before Kai was in contact with me through email. He had sent me his address to post my documents forward to him so he could get my visa ready. I felt more than scared at the thought that his emails were taken the same night he was killed. Surely this had to be a coincidence. It couldn't be linked. I was certain it was just a strange turn of events. Or maybe I was lying to myself. Trying to convince myself otherwise. Without even thinking I reached for my phone and called Dean. It didn't take long for him to answer. "Hey Rach. You ok?". "Not really..." I breathed out. I didn't know if anyone would believe me. Especially Dean. "Whats wrong?". "Do you know last Friday when my door was open?" Dean paused before he answered. It wasn't exactly hard to remember. "What about it?" He asked, his tone changing from gentle to serious fast. "Well I think someone was here. They printed emails from my laptop and then deleted them". I waited for Dean to reply, he went completely silent yet I could hear him breathing down the other side of the line. "Dean I'm being serious. I got a email alert I never noticed before. I have a security feature on my emails that tells me if I have logged into another device, if anything was sent from email to printer, scanners and fax machines. The alert says the emails were sent to print yet when I click on the link that shows me what emails it said they are deleted". He still didn't say anything. I took that as my que to continue. "The emails missing are what Kai sent me. They were printed while I was at the work party. Remember the report? He was killed that night! Dean, i'm scared. What if the killer was in my apartment? It's too fucking coincidental. Should I call the police?" "NO!" He suddenly snapped out. I blinked in shock to his sudden outburst. Listening to his breathing that exhaled out slowly like you would when annoyed then he calmed himself quickly. "Maybe it was a glitch with your email. If you call the police they won't exactly care about emails that were printed then deleted. It's pointless to even try". I felt myself become stressed. I somehow knew deep down Dean would think I was reading too far into it. "But what if I'm right? There could be finger prints!" "Rachel! Listen to me! Even if you are right, the fingerprints would be gone now anyway. You've probably touched everything who ever it was has touched. I've been up a few times since then and my fingerprints will be everywhere also. There is no point in wasting police time".
