After a few days the town came together to vote. Casey and Noah were instructed to stay in their tent. Noah paced back and forth while Casey checked on her colors. It had moved up to her stomach.
"Noah this is bad. They can't let us stay here. You shouldn't be with me either."
"I don't care. They have to let us stay. This is the only place I know. They are supposed to be accepting."
"But Noah not everyone comes in with a partial blue-green body!"
"I don't care Casey!"
Noah burst into tears and Casey ran over to him.
"Hey it's okay. You know what? We are together and that's all that matters."
She kissed Noah and hugged him tight.
"Excuse me?"
Neither of them had even noticed the leader standing there.
"We are ready to discuss the results with you. Please come outside at once."
"Okay, sorry. We will be right behind you."
They both practically ran to the center of the camp sight where the meeting was held. The way there seemed to take forever, for, this answer with change their lives completely.  It was either living life at a camp or living life in hiding.
