Lance looked over his shoulder, hearing Prince Lotor address Keith. Keith was nervous, stopping whatever he was doing, running back over to Lance. Lance got into a fighting position, nodding. "Ready?" He asked Keith, smiling softly. Keith nodded, doing the same, eyeing Prince Lotor, who seemed to be watching them train together.

Keith shuffled forward and threw the first kick, aimed at Lance's head. Lance ducked down, dodging another quick kick, not used to Keith being so energized in hand-to-hand combat. He looked Keith up and down, daring to kick at a shoulder. Keith was winding up for another kick, stumbling back from the force. He laughed softly, his hands still up to his chest, jabbing forward to Lance's chest. Lance blocked, circling around, making Keith circle with him. After a few rotations, Keith got impatient, spinning into a head-kick, knocking Lance onto the ground.

It wasn't a rough kick to where it would hurt him, just to knock him off his balance. He pinned Lance down, grinning, holding the Cuban's hands above his head. "Do I win this round~?" Keith teased, glancing at Prince Lotor from the corner of his eye. He leaned down, kissing Lance sweetly and thoroughly, letting go of his hands to run his fingers through the blue paladin's hair. Lance moaned into the kiss, feeling Keith push his tongue into his mouth, his eyes fluttering shut, entangling his fingers in Keith's hair. Prince Lotor watched, crossing his arms, his lips forming a line.

Lance gripped Keith's hair, yanking his head back, flipping them over, panting hard. He licked his lips, his face hot and a light shade of red. "Don't let your guard down." He smirked. "I believe I won now?" Lance asked, looking up at Prince Lotor. The prince smiled, nodding. "Can you two go another round?" He asked, chuckling.

Keith and Lance nodded, getting off each other. They spent the rest of the day training, all under Lotor's careful watch. At the end of the day, he dismissed them, sending them to their room, no longer in a cell. They were too exhausted to do anything but sleep through the night.

The next morning, they met Lotor on the training deck in their paladin armor. Prince Lotor was grinning happily, standing tall. Keith crossed his arms, eyeing the prince. "Why are you so happy today?" He asked curiously, glancing at Lance. Prince Lotor motioned two servants over, who produced armor for Lance and Keith. "I decided to make new armor to replace Voltron's armor. It looks much nicer, in my opinion." He said proudly, waving the servants off. "Go ahead! Put it on, I won't watch." He smiled, turning his back to them.

Lance looked at Keith nervously, looking down at the armor in his arms. Keith shrugged, glaring at Lotor, hesitantly taking his armor off. Lance stripped off his paladin armor, Keith not far behind, squeezing into the new armor, looking at the color and design. The Cuban boy extended his arm and looked at it, looking at his chest. The armor was a dark purple, very similar to paladin armor in placement of colors. He was given a glowing amethyst color while Keith got a glowing magenta. The symbol that crossed their chests to signify Voltron Paladins was flipped upside down, glowing their respective colors. "Done." Keith said plainly, watching Lotor turn around.

Lotor studied them, one hand on a hip, the one finger to his lips. He looked Keith up and down, nodding. He then looked at Lance, spinning his finger in the air. "Turn for me." He ordered, keeping his eyes locked on Lance's body as he turned. "Ah, Perfect." He hummed softly, smiling proudly. "I really do prefer these, they look more... fitting here." He grinned, looking at Keith. "I know you sent a transmission to team Voltron yesterday. You may send another one if you'd like. I'll allow this one." Lotor taunted, catching Lance's surprised look at Keith. "No doubt Voltro- my bad, no doubt the paladins are planning an attack. I don't think it's fitting to call them Voltron."

"Why do you want Voltron so badly?! Do you even have five paladins to pilot the lions? What if the lions reject them because you killed their pilots?! Then it was all a waste!" Keith snapped, his fists clenched. Prince Lotor's expression didn't change, stepping closer to Keith. "What we do with the lions doesn't concern you, Red. If we have Voltron, then the universe is safe." He growled softly.

Keith huffed, unconvinced. "If you have Voltron, then you can control the WHOLE universe. You'll enslave more and more planets, hell, you'll even kill the Earth and everything on it." Keith growled back. Prince Lotor brought a hand up, slapping Keith across the face harshly, gripping his shoulder. "I would never hurt the Earth. Would you care to know why?" Lotor asked coldly, gritting his teeth. Keith launched himself at Prince Lotor, grunting when he hit the ground after Lotor stepped away. He pulled out a knife, clutching the handle, trembling with anger. "No! Because you're a liar!" He yelled. The Galran prince grabbed Lance, holding him in front of his body. Lance squeezed his eyes shut, trembling.

"Because of this." He heard Lotor speak behind him, peeking open his eyes, looking at Keith. Keith looked at Lance, his expression softening. He dropped the knife weakly, his shoulders drooping. "You're right." He said softly, lowering his head in defeat. Lance swallowed nervously, confused, looking up at Lotor. "Thank you, Red." Lotor murmured, taking his hands off Lance. "Lance means the world to me, even more than the world. He loved it, on Earth. The beaches, the sun, the food, the family." Keith said softly, looking into Lance's eyes. "I still want to help the paladins. Convince me like you convinced Lance, and I'll go all in for you." He said softly, letting out a heavy sigh.

Lotor nodded, looking at Keith. "Come with me."
