Chapter 11

Hollis' P.O.V.

"Yes it is okay that you go for her. If Kit and I don't work out, I will find someone. Thank you for everything Christoper." I said kissing his cheek. We walked back into the dining hall. Kit was alone.

"Where is Ella?" I asked.

"She went and used the bathroom." He said. I nodded. Kit looked so handsome. He also looked a little nervous.

"I'm going to go find Ella." Christopher told us. We nodded as he got up and walked out of the room. It was just Kit and i.

"You look stunning." He said.

"Thank you." I replied. I felt so strange. We haven't really had a good conversation in a while.

"What did Christopher want to talk about?" He asked.

"He asked who Ella was. He likes her and wanted to know if it was okay to like her." I replied.

"Oh." Kit said.

"Im sorry." I shot out. Kit gave me a puzzled look as soon as I said that. "I never handled it how I should of. I should of been more mature about it and not go out and find another guy. I should of told you how I felt when Ella showed up. So for not being mature and not being myself, I'm sorry." I said. Kit got up and walked over to the seat next to me. He pulled my head up from where it was in my lap.

"Do you mean what you said the other day? And do you still mean it?" He asked.

"Mean what?"

"When you said you loved me." He replied.

"Yes. I loved you from the day we became friends. And I will always love you. Until the day I die." I said. I looked back down and played with my hands. I was nervous and I know I shouldn't be. Kit stood up and put his hand out for me to grab. I looked up at him and he gestured towards my hand. I took it and stood up. He looked me in the eyes and rested his hands on my neck while caressing my cheeks. He pulled my face towards his and gently pressed his lips against mine. I felt those familiar fireworks go off in my stomach. Everything felt back to normal.

"I love you Hollis. I will always love you and only you. And I promise, if you give me another chance, I will prove to you that you are my world. Please, be with me? Im ready to show the public the woman I truly love." He told me. I smiled at him and nodded.

"Of course Kit. I love you." I said kissing him. I could feel him smile into the kiss.

"Yayyy!!!" I could hear someone say. We pulled away and saw Ella and Christopher standing there. Ella was the one who said yay.

"Congratulations you two!" Christopher said to us.

"Thank you." We replied. Christopher wrapped his arm around my waist and looked down at me smiling. God I love him.

"Im so sorry I got in the way of you two." Ella said.

"Don't worry about it! It just made us here and we made two good friends along the way!" I replied.

"Shall we finish dinner?" Kit suggested. We all nodded and sat down. Although Kit and I aren't engaged, we are a couple and that is what I think we should be right now. I have to learn to go from a servant to a queen. This will be a strange transition.

After we ate, the servants took down the table and made it fit for us to dance. We were dancing and it was wonderful. I felt like everything was in place again.

"Miss Hollis?" Someone said. It was the Captain and the Grand Duke. We all stopped and looked.

"Yes?" I asked.
