Justin-

Sunday . . Thank gosh.

I'm hanging out with some friends today, and hopefully forgetting about the incident with Farah yesterday.

I knock on Ryan's door, and the guy pile out into my car.

We were going to the park, to play some basketball.

"What's eating you?" Sam asked, and Mel came into my mind right away.

She likes Sam.

"Faaraaah Wiliams!" Chaz coos.

I roll my eyes. "Wilson. Farah Wilson." I snap.

"So, she is the problemo? Dude, move on."  One of Chaz's extended friend of the group . . Brian or something, said.

"Shut up." I stepped on the gas.

"Oh shit . . Look it's Melody Cruz." Ryan points, and my head snaps to the direction.

Melody stands there, with a guy. Laughing.

I squint, to make sure it's really her . . Sure enough, it was Melody. I shot the ball, making it, and then looking over to Mel again. "Who's that?" I wonder outloud.

"Brother?" Sam asks, just as confused as me.

"She's an only child." I notify him, and he nods.

Melody catches my gaze, and waves.

My cheeks flush crimson, and I shyly wave back.

Melody shrugs the guy off, after saying a few more words, and strolled towards us, smiling. "Justin!" her eyes seem puffy, and her nose is red. "Oh, hey guys." She hugs Ryan, Chaz, and Sam, doing a handshake with Brian.

Where's my hug?

"Hey, Mel." I breathe, she grins at me, and gives my cheek a peck.

Oh. I smile.

"Hey."

"Who was that guy?" I blurt, resting my arm on her head.

She shook my arm off, and blushed. "Oh, he's on the decorating committee for the last dance." I scrunch up my face. "It's nice when people volunteer. I don't have to do everything." She sighs, then smiles.

"I–I was gonna volunteer . . I mean – It looked cool, and I heard about it." Ryan, the shy one spoke up. He had always been shy around Mel. I didn't get it. She was really easy to talk to.

"Really? That's cool." Melody rests a hand on Ryan's shoulder. A string of 'me too's came from the guys.

"I was the one who convinced Ry to get into the club." Chaz smirks proudly.

"You know, we would like to have more help. After that, all the guys, and us go swimming at Jake's place." Mel says. Mental images of Mel in a bikini came to mind, and I try to blink them away.

"What time?" Chaz asks, eagerly

"Tomorrow. Four p.m." She smiles, and checks her phone.

"We'll be there." Sam slings an arm around Mel, and she doesn't react.

Not even a blush.

"I'll see you guys later." She squeezes me, and her breath hits my neck. I shudder. "Bye Mel." I call out.

"Dude, those guys are not joining that club to decorate." Sam says and smirks.

"At least not the straight ones."

"Bieber looks like he's got Mel on a leash." Brian interrupts our conversation. I laugh.

"Dude. She's just a friend." I shoot the ball, glancing at Melody walking back.

"I would so hit that ass though, ummff." Chaz groans in his mouth.

I scrunch my face up. "You guys are pigs."
