The man satisfyingly watched me as I struggled to suppress the pain. Just as he thought, I was wearing a suppressor stone around my neck to be able to control my irregularity. Now that he has given me two more irregularity against my will, namely Self-Heal and Regeneration, he could give me the most horrible death that I could think of it; and that is, struggling around while my body continues to explode and regenerate at the same time. That way, I would slowly die as my accumulated irregular energy is gradually used by my irregularity. Until now, I was still struggling to breath and control my body but I could feel my body slowly drifting away from me.

Splash!

Out of nowhere, my arm blew up on its own, as if a cluster grenade was implanted inside it. Bits of flesh and splashes of blood sprayed here and there. I didn't dare look since I might faint from the sight of my arm. I knew that this would happen because my body couldn't handle the amount of stored energy in my body. Before I knew it, my other arm detached itself from my shoulders, then my legs followed. Before I knew it, my whole body plopped towards the floor. Once again, I couldn't dare look at the appendages that I left on the place where I've been even though I could feel the sticky blood on my whole body.

"I'm going to drop the suppressor stone right here." The man teasingly told me as I hear him drop the stone somewhere in the room. Even though my eyes were closed, I could feel his pleased expression by means of my sense enhancement. His suppressed laugh makes me all the more annoyed but I tried to ignore it since I badly needed him to leave the room so that I could get the suppressor stone.

Please leave now! I thought while trying to keep myself awake. (Well, I really don't need to keep myself awake since my injuries are so painful.)

To my relief, the man left the cell, carefully locking the door behind him. I could hear his footsteps slowly disappearing as I pressed my ears on the bloodstained floor. With all the strength I could muster, I slowly dragged myself towards the suppressor stone. This should be easy. I grunted as blood filled my mouth. Yup, this should be easy. I'm just crawling after all.

Up until now, I couldn't use my shadow irregularity nor my light irregularity. I was having a hard time gaining control on my body at the moment, that's why I rendered my irregularity useless. I was left with no choice but to drag myself towards the suppressor stone. The pain was already bearable since I had gotten quite used to it. A few times while I uselessly dragged myself, I felt my arms and legs even though they weren't there. Now I know how a phantom limb feels like, it was rather creepy and at the same time, very disturbing.

Swish.

What's that? A heat signature? I'm sure it is...no...there are two heat signatures. How come? I wondered. And I could sense it right on the ceiling. The two heat signatures were quite familiar though. I wonder who they are?

"H-hikari?!!" I heard someone exclaimed from above. It was a familiar, voice of a woman and it sounds familiar. I'm quite sure that it's not Mitsumi nor the others but I couldn't recognize the voice no matter how hard I tried. It seems like my hearing has been affected as well because of the amount of the irregular energy in my body.

"Hikari!!!"

Mom? I thought as I finally recognized the voice. Mom?! Why are you here?! You shouldn't be here! You need to escape! No matter how hard I tried it, I couldn't speak anymore. I couldn't even move my lips much to my disappointment. Little by little, I could feel my whole body slowly shutting down.

I looked around, trying to keep my eyesight working, but to no avail. Before I knew it, my vision was dyed red and it kept getting darker and darker.  My blurry vision finally turned black in less than a split second.
