Chapter 4 : His twin

*clack* The door opened.

"Prince Jungkook?" said Jangmi as she lifted her head up. But it was other person.

"I've heard that my brother saved a girl but I never expected it to be you, cute little mermaid." the man said.

"Who is he?" she questioned.

"He has the same face as Prince Jungkook."

"How does he know that I'm a mermaid?"

"Oh? It was supposed to be a secret?" he asked, "Sorry."

"In that case, if you don't want to be exposed..." he smirked.

"...play with me too." he said as he come closer and closer towards Jangmi.

"Ehhh?! Do what with you?" she tried to screamed but nothing came out.

"You're definitely the one I saw in the shore watching Jungkook behind the rock." he then smirked, "Don't tell me you became a human because you're in love with him or something?"

He then pushed Jangmi to lie on the bed, cornering her with both of his hand, "How did you became a human?" He scanned her body.

"Stop!" Jangmi screamed as Yugyeom tried to hick on her neck.

"What are you doing?" Jungkook said behind Yugyeom.

"Oh? I was just playing around a little." he said care freely.

"Please don't lay a hand on her. She'll be in my care for the time being in order to receive treatment." Jungkook said to his twin as Jangmi hides behind Jungkook.

"Very well, I'll do as you asked. But you seem different, unlike your normal irritating serious self." he smirked.

"This is Yugyeom. My older twin brother." Ignoring Yugyeom, Jungkook explained to confused Jangmi.

"Twins? That makes sense, no wonder they looked the same except his brother has a different hair colour." she thought.

"Well whatever. See you later dear. When you get sick of Jungkook, I'll play with you." said Yugyeom and winked his left eyes toward Jangmi.

"Their personalities are completely different." said Jangmi cringed out by Yugyeom.

After a few minute later...

"This is Nana. She'll be taking care of you from now on." Jungkook commanded.

"I'm Nana. Nice to meet you!" said the bouncy little girl around sixteen to seventeen of age.

"I've already explained to her that you're a girl of few words. If there is anything you need, let her know." Jungkook said sternly.

"She'll teach you how to become a proper maid. Remember, the story is that you're here for medical treatment. Make sure not to forget your position and say something careless. Got it? Or I throw this necklace of yours." Again he said it with no emotional or so on.

"What he means is that I can't have much contact with him in front of others." Jangmi said with a sad face, she sighed heavily.

Looking Jangmi's face has turned cloudy, Nana said, "It's okay, Kookie appear cold and distant, but he's really a kind person."

After giving Jangmi all the things she needed Nana left her at her room.

"Human legs... They still feel strange. It's so weird how they opened right in the middle." Jangmi said as she played with her legs.

"I wonder if I'll see Jungkook tomorrow." She stared the ceiling.

"I wonder why it starts to hurt inside whenever I think about him."

"It's fine if he doesn't fall in love with me, I just need to get this 'maid' stuff done and went back to the sea after he return my necklace."

"It's presumptuous of me to wish for even a little piece of his heart, isn't it?"

She thought this to herself after both Nana and Jungkook left her.

The next day...

"This is your dress." said Nana looking bubbly.

"Kyaaa! You look so cute." she said while brushing Jangmi's hair.

"So what is your name? I need to know what to call you." asked Nana.

Jangmi pointed to the roses in the vase at the corner of the room.

"Jangmi? Wahhh. That name really suits you, Lady Jangmi." Nana complimented.

As Jangmi tried to walk, she wobble her way out the room, since she has no sense of balance yet. "Were you really that sick yesterday? Here hold onto me." said Nana.

Jangmi take glances around the castle to look for Jungkook, but nothing of him has been seen today. "The castle is so big I need to be careful or I'll get lost." she thought to herself."

"But even though he was here, I'm not allowed to speak to him." she sighed.

"Kyaaa! It's Prince Yugyeom!" said some princess invited to the castle.

"Prince Yugyeom, you're handsome today as well!"

"Prince Yugyeom! Please take me with you to the next ball too."

"Just make sure you wear cute underwear." said Yugyeom naughtily.

"Oh Prince Yugyeom, you rascal." said the princess shyly.

"That's Prince Yugyeom. He is a playboy. Doesn't really do his official duties." whispered Nana.

"Hey dear, you looked cute today too." Yugyeom greeted Jangmi when he saw them looking at his crowd.

"Hmmph! What is she to Prince Yugyeom?" whispered some princess.

"Must be a servant." said another princess.

"My, it's certainly lively in here." said Lisa. Everybody that saw her bowed down to Lisa except for Jangmi.

"This person... She was the first person that found Prince Jungkook the time I saved him. Woah, she's really beautiful." thought Jangmi.

"You're beautiful as ever." Prince Yugyeom greeted Princess Lisa and kissed her hand.

"That's Lady Lisa, Princess of the neighboring Western kingdom. They support our country financially." whispered Nana.

"Because of her country support, we can't really speak out against Lady Lisa. Ever since she saved Prince Jungkook, her behavior has gotten more and more arrogant." Nana continued.

"The truth is Prince Yogeum and Lady Lisa are actually lovers, but this isn't publicly known, so you must keep it a secret." Nana said, whispering to Jangmi.

Jangmi nodded at all Nana's saying.

"I heard that someone here are receiving some medical treatment under Jungkook's protection," Lisa said as she stared Jangmi from head to her toe, "You look rather healthy, but I suppose it must be you."

"I don't know what country you're from but Jungkook is really too nice, letting a no mannered person like you, who doesn't even bow her head in the presence of a princess, stay here." Lisa snickered.

"I-I didn't know.... How embarrassing." Jangmi's face were red as a tomato.

"You don't have to worry about those kind of things. You'll learn the things you don't know as you go along. If you have any problems, just ask me. I'm on your side." said Nana.

Hearing those soothing words from Nana, Jangmi hugged Nana. "You're such a good person." said Jangmi.

"Well then I have to get back to work. Kookie said its alright for you to take a walk around this area." said Nana before parting with Jangmi.

"A walk..?" Jangmi was puzzled.

"I have to remember everything, if I don't, Prince Jungkook will feel embarrassed... for letting me staying at the castle. I must make sure I didn't cause any problems for him."
