Chapter 20 : Pregnant?

Few days later

"You should be recovered by now. I don't think you need these bandages." Sana said as she opened the bandages from Jungkook's head and cleaned his wound.

"But I still can't remember anything. Maybe if you tell me how I came to this village, i might remember something." Jungkook said looking at Sana eyes.

"Um.. You were a traveler. You arrived in this village and met me many months ago. You've been here since." Sana said trying to cover up a story.

"and then I fell somewhere and hit my head then lose my memories, right?" Jungkook asked for reconfirmation.

Sana was glad that she came up with that idea. Sana then noticed that Jungkook been keeping the pearl for a long time and was curious of it.

"It's very pretty. The colour is very unusual. Why don't you sell it? I'm sure you'd get a lot of money from it." She gave a thought.

"I'm not going to sell it!" Jungkook shouted at her then continued, "I don't remember anything else, but I have a strong feeling that this is very important."
"If it's that important, I'll give you this." Sana handed him a small sack to kept the pearl.

"Holding something so small in your hand all the time must make you worry, right?" She gave him a sweet smile.

"I'm sorry I got angry at you. How can i apologize?"

"Its okay, Zico. I mean, we are lovers, after all. Right?" she blushed.

"Yeah.. That's right..." Jungkook said not sure of the real situation.

"Well, good night. Since you're all better now, we'll go out to the village market tomorrow." Sana went out.

"Yeah, night." Jungkook replied. He clenched the pearl, wondering if all that is true and why he can't even remembered any of it.

The next day

"They really suit you, Zico. I chose the most expensive pair in the whole town." Sana said feeling proud.

"Thanks. It really is quite cold in this Northern Kingdom."

"Hey, Sana!" greeted one old man.

"H-hello. Are you going to the field?"

"Yeah. Is that the boyfriend that I keep hearing about?" "I had no idea you were living together with a man like him."

"You don't need to tease me about it. It's embarrassing to talk about."

"Sana is the daughter of our beloved village foreman, who've passed away. Ever since she's been working hard for everyone's sake. If you make her sad, we won't forgive you." The old man pointed at Jungkook.

"Jeez, don't talk like that." Sana blushed.

Jungkook just nodded at the old man. They then soon talk about the crop grown at the village.

After a few minute

"...anyway after the cost of transportation to the Southern Kingdom, your profit wont be quite as high anymore. What do you think about....." Jungkook was discussing with the old man.

"Wow. He seems like such a reliable man." Sana blushed, she put her hand at her mouth, admiring her view. "Could it be I've really found someone spectacular for a boyfriend?"

"Just give it a try! Just like Zico said!" Sana joined in the conversation.

"What? Well, if you say so Sana..."

"Zico really is an amazing person. I'm sure if his memories we're return, there's no way he'd ever be satisfied with a country bumpkin like me." Sana thought to herself while clenching her fist.
