Chapter 14 : Dancing Girl

*Click clack click clack*

"Huh? That sounded like a carriage." Jangmi said as she was preparing dinner for her and Jungkook.

"Miss Jangmi, I've come to collect you. I work for Lady Lisa. You're needed for tonight's entertainment." The servant who claimed to be under Lisa.

"Lady Lisa wishes for you to serve as a dancing girl, to atone for the hurt you have done to her.'

"Lady Lisa? Why?" Jangmi asked but was ignored.

Suddenly the guard grabbed her by hand and force her to went inside the carriage. The guard just throw her inside and Jangmi was on her feet.

"If you didn't agree, I'll inform his majesties about Prince Jungkook keeping a girl and of course Prince Jungkook will be punished." said the servant emotionless.

"We already prepare what you'll wear tonight." The servant throw the things that Jangmi will use to dance that night.

"Lady Lisa know about me and Jungkook." she thought to herself, "But for Jungkook.."

"I have to dance."

"To dance until whatever evil might befall Jungkook has passed." Jangmi have her solution and was determined.

"I have to go to the engagement party. I have a bad feeling about this." Jungkook rushed to the ship where the engagement party were held.

After Jungkook reached the ship he searched for Yugyeom as soon as possible.

"What happen? Haa.. ha.. haa..." He took in a deep breath as he was out of it because of running from the castle to the ship quickly.

Yugyeom turned his left to his right showing to Jungkook what just happen.

"I tried to stop her but she insisted to do it." Yugyeom were shaking his head, "I think Lisa is the one that is responsible for this act. She knew about you and Jangmi. It seemed clear Lisa dressed her that way and make her dance like that out of revenge."

Jungkook clenched his hand. Jangmi were dancing at the center of the ship, wearing nothing but her undergarment that were accessorized with pearl and diamonds. She was dancing to what she had been taught when she was with the dancer at the town. Her face were in flush red but for Jungkook's sake, she would do anything.

Sympathy with Jangmi, Jungkook rushed in and placed his jacket on her.

"Please don't..." Jangmi said giving back his jacket. "You will be punished if you're seen with me, your highness."

"No, take it." Jungkook put it on her again.

"Just how many times you're going to stop me, Jungkook?!"

"Jangmi condition's isn't good. I'm letting her rest." Jungkook said sternly at Lisa while picking up Jangmi in bridal style.

"Even though you're engaged to me, you're still sticking up for her! Just for a low born whor-" Lisa stood up and pointed at Jangmi then was cut by Jungkook.

"It's because I love her!" He declared to all the people there.

All the guest whispered to each other.

"What did Prince Jungkook just said?"

"With that dancing girl?"

"Unbelievable..."

"Ah.. He really said it..." Yugyeom said looking worried.
Jangmi grabbed Jungkook shoulder and pull him close, "Jungkook.. You don't have to do this..."

"I can't hide this anymore. I was resolved to continue loving you secretly. But what she did to you is immoral." He hold Jangmi's left hand and rubbed it to his cheek softly.

Giving Lisa a death glare he said, "Lisa, if you harm her again, I won't forgive you."

"I-I'm the one who won't forgive you!" Lisa shouted back, "You're a prince and yet you're choosing to shame me this much?"

Turning his back against Lisa and walked away ignoring her but then continued with a dead eyes, "Do whatever you want, but if you harm her, I'll fight you with everything I have."

Walking away he said, "I'm just glad I found out what you're really like before we married." With a sarcastic tone he continued, "You would make a terrible queen."

Lisa was taken aback with that, she squeeze her hand and was trembling with anger. At that point she wasn't thinking straight anymore.
