Danny Worsnop One Shot

"I can't believe you!" I scream, sliding off my heels and throwing my purse on the kitchen table.

"What?" He slurred, stumbling in the kitchen and trying to undo his tie.

"This drinking! The drugs! You need help Danny!" I sigh, setting down at the island and putting my head in my hands.

"I'm sorry." He mummers.

"You say that every time Danny! I'm done. Tomorrow I'm leaving." I storm up the stairs and into our room, locking the door and laying down.

----

I wake up around 12:30. I throw my hair up into a sloppy bun and throw some simple clothes into a duffle bag. I quietly walk down the stairs, not wanting to wake a hungover Danny. I write a note and walk out the door.

Danny P.O.V.

I wake up with a major headache. I run a hand through my hair, walking into the kitchen and downing two Ibuprofen with water. I spot a note left on the counter with my name scrawled on the front.

Danny,

I love you with every bone in my body. But the constant drugs and achoal are just too much. I love you but I'm your fiancé, not your babysitter. You call me if you get better.

Love,

Lacie.

No. I lost my love. I lost my everything.

I need help. I pick up my phone and call Ben.

"Hey Mate. What's up?" He answers.

"I-I fucked up man." I mumble sitting down.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"S-She left. Lacie, she left me!" I chock back a sob.

"Why?" Concern was lacing his voice.

"She said she was my Fiancé not my babysitter. I love her man. I need to Get clean."

-Six months later-

Lacie P.O.V.

"C'mon hunny. You need to get up." My sister, Elizabeth calls.

"No Iizzy. I'm fine." I mumble back, flipping through the TV Channels.

Since our breakup, I rented an apartment and my sister has been checking up on me every once-in-awhile.

"Yeah, sure. When was the last time you showered? Or cooked a Real meal? Six damn months. You're taking this hard. Talk to him!" She says, annoyed.

"He's probably already moved on.." I mumble, pulling the blanket from the other side of the couch onto me.

"Whatever. Text me later." She sighs defeated.

I eventually got up and decided to go shower. I plug up my phone to my speaker, pressing my 'Shower Songs' playlist. I step in the shower, instantly feeling relaxed because of the hot water I haven't felt in days. I wash my hair and body quickly, stepping out if the hot water, quickly drying off and slipping on my clothes.

I walk down to the kitchen and put a pizza in the oven, too lazy to make a real meal.

I grab a cup and set it on the counter, walking to the refrigerator but stopping when the doorbell rings. I walk to the door and open it slightly.

My eyes bulge in surprise. "D-Danny?" Tears well up and I wonder why he's here. "W-why? How?" I scramble.

"You said call you when I go better. I thought seeing you would be easier." He spoke softly. "Six months." He mummers pulling a chain from under his shirt and handing it to me.

I run a finger over the words that read 'Six Months Clean' in cursive. Tears fall down my cheeks and I place the necklace back around his neck and hug him tightly.

"I thought you didn't want me." I sob through my tears.

"No baby." He hugs me tighter "The minute I read your note, I called Ben and he got me to rehab."

I pull back and he pulls something from his pocket - my ring. He drops to his knee before speaking. "Can we start over again?" I cover my mouth then drop my left hand to his, the tears sliding faster.

"I-I love you. I never stopped." He says, standing up.

I wrap my arms around his neck and mumble in his ear "Me either Danny, me either."

-10 Years Later-

"Mommy! Benjamin stole my Toy again!" Little Sammy called pointing in the direction of him and his brothers' room.

"Benny!" I sigh picking up Sam and carrying him to their room. "Give your brother his toy. I'm going to fix dinner. Your Uncles and Daddy's friends are coming over." I kiss each boy before walking into the kitchen and making some burgers for Danny to but on the stove.

A lot had happened these last six years. Danny and I got married and a year later had a daughter, Karli is now 9. Then four years later we had two twins, Benjamin and Sam. Asking Alexandria are still going strong, as is Danny's clean streak. He hasn't had any drugs and only drinks a couple beers a month.

"What are you thinking about baby?" Danny mumbles in my ear, wrapping his big arms around my waist.

"Us." I sigh taking off my gloves and turning around, wrapping my arms around his neck.

He mumbles something and places a soft kiss to my lips.

"I love you."

"I love you too, Danny."
