There they where again, two girls that always happened to be here, if I didn't know better I'd think they where stalking me, and also if I wasnt kinda stalking them. I look away quickly when they look in my direction, too scared to be noticed again. Glancing at my watch to see the time I pick up my muffin and tea and leave the coffee shop quickly, stepping out into the snow and pulling up my hood to attempt to save my hair from the now steadily falling snow.
It really was beautiful, the snow somehow made everything seem so much more peaceful and at ease.
Smiling happily to myself I started the walk back to the flat where the guys would be, I'd only come out to see if they'd be there and they were, just like every single day. By now I'd learnt their order, I'd overheard one day and it had just stuck in my mind. In the winter the taller of the two would have hot chocolate with marshmellows but no cream and the shorter, a blackcurrent tea. In the warmer months one would have a mango and passionfruit cooler while the other would have a berry one with a little cake usually.

There he was again sat about 6 feet away from us, casually drinking what I assumed to be tea, we had the same cups, and glancing in our direction every few minutes. He was hot, I'd give Abbie that. She'd began to have an obsession with him and now it was almost a game, we had to come here the same time every day to see him. I wish she'd just go and ask him for his number, that would be a lot easier.
It was 6'o cloc, the normal time that he left and again he cast us a glance but this one was longer, and it propelled me to get up and follow him as he was pulling his hood up to cover his carefully styled hair.
"hey" I said reaching out a hand to tap his shoulder, jumping back slightly when he spun around quickly to face me. I wasn't expecting him to turn that fast.
"um, hello?" he replied unsure.
"your always in there" I begin and he nods stuffing his hands into his pockets, "and my friend has kind of got an obsession with you" I add looking at him hopefully, "I was wondering if she could have your number"
He looked at me as if searching my face for something, after a few moments he smiled at me, "I'm Nathan, I'll put it into your phone for you"
"Thankyou, I'm Rachel and she's Abbie" I say nodding my head in the direction of the coffee shop where Abbie was burying her head in her hands. Purposely avoiding us.
Shivering slightly as his hand brushes mine I put it down to the cold weather and shrug it off, "I'll get her to call you" I say smiling at him
"cool, see you" he replies offering his own smile and brushing the snow from his hood, before continuing his journey to wherever he was going.
Opening the door to the coffee shop and walking through I watch Abbie's face as she looks at me intently.
"sooooo?" she asks, obviously wanting me to tell her what he had said.
"he said sorry but he's got a girlfriend" I say completely seriously, or so I thought.
"your crap at lying" she states, grabbing my phone off me and going straight to my contacts.
"his name is Nathan" I say leaning back on my chair "and he said to call him"
"awesome, I'll do that later when we get home then." she replies happily. I smile in response, taking the phone from her and checking the time, "let's go"
Opening the door we quickly get inside, desperate to get away from the wet snow I shut the door behind us loudly the sound echoing lightly around the lounge.
Sitting down in my usual place on the soft sofa I reach down for my laptop ready to start some of the homework set for us for the holiday.
"your not actually going to do the work are you?" Abbie asks going towards the kitchen,
"some of it, and id rather get it done with" I say tapping the keys on my laptop as it loads.
"I can't be bothered, we've practically finished now, its like march we finish completely" she says from the kitchen door, wooden spoon in hand "I'm making pasta, is that okay?"
I nod my agreement while signing in and opening my documents.
"good, I can't be bothered to do much else" she replies turning away.
I'd nearly finished my business work when my phone rang, sighing slightly I picked it up answering it without checking who was calling
"hey babe" the caller said sounding like he was either faking happiness or really tired,
"oh hey Lou" I reply a smile forming on my face
"how are you?" He asks, listening to my reply before telling me about what he'd done the last few days.
"so I was thinking about coming up to yours tonight, I haven't seem you in ages" he says
"babe you saw me like four days ago, it's not my fault you keep disappearing to work, and yeah about 8? Normal time?" I ask
"yep, see you then, love you"
"love you too" I reply before ending the call and attempting to finish my college work.
