I practically skipped off the plane, through passport control, luggage collection and now we had arrived and where waiting in a queue to get our room key.
I look the time to look around the front room, the walls where a bright white and the seats clustered around the room, a deep red.
The staircase at the opposite end of the room -behind us- was curved, and it had wooden steps with a glass rail, the elevators where to the right of the vast stairs.
Looking to my right I saw that the back of the hotel was glass, and the main pool was in perfect view.
The front desk was nice, there where cards pinned to the wall behind, and although there was only two people delegating rooms they did their job swiftly while still being polite. My first impressions where good, it looked just like the pictures and you defiantly got what you paid for, I was impressed.
Handing the woman my booking confirmation she smiled at me passing me two room keys, "hope you have a nice stay" she said and I replied with "thanks, have a nice day"
We where in room 104, so we took the elevator up and arrived at our room quickly, running the key through the door it opened and we had a look inside. Just as I had asked for, two double beds with a balcony overlooking the beach, perfect.
"this is nice" Abbie said dropping her bag onto the bed and looking around the room.
I hummed in response, picking up my phone and texting Nathan that we where coming down to the pool in about 10 minutes.
"get changed and we'll go down to the pool, I can't be bothered to unpack yet" I say unzipping my suitcase and pulling out the first bikini and towel that came to hand, heading into the bathroom to get changed and afterwards sliding my denim shirt back on over the top, leaving it unbuttoned.
"hey Rach" Abbie said twirling around in her blue bikini, "this is yours" she continued taking something off her wrist and giving it to me "he wanted you to keep it"
Nathan PoV
My phone buzzed on the table next to me and I reached over to get it but wasn't quick enough. Jay swiped up the phone unlocking it and reading what whoever had sent me.
"Rachel? Who's Rachel?" he asked frowning, "she said 'we're coming down to the pool, see you in 10' who is this chick and why don't we know, I thought you told us you where dating Abbie"
By now all the lads where looking at me expectantly and I grinned taking the phone back from Jay "Rachel happened to book the same hotel for her and Abbie, but hands off, there taken" I reply putting my phone back on the table.
"Rachel and Abbie are the people you told us about on the plane yeah?" max asked leaning back in his chair, and I agreed "yeah"
"your dating Abbie and Rachel's taken. Got it, what do they look like then?" Siva asked raising an eyebrow.
Looking through my phone for a picture of the two I found one of the four of us from when we went shopping, "the taller darker haired one is Abbie, the other is Rachel and her boyfriend" I reply showing them all the picture before pocketing my phone and standing up.
"Mate, the boyfriend isn't coming right? That would be a bit awkward" Tom asked and I laughed,
"No he's 'busy', and to be honest I think there gonna break up soon he seems too distant"
Tom nodded in response and we went outside to sit by the pool so that the girls could find us, "oh and Abbie doesn't know we're here" I add when the two girls come in to sight.
Rachel PoV
Actually being on holiday single is much better, I can flirt with whoever I like without feeling guilty, and there were some pretty hot guys around.
Well they looked hot until I locked eyes with Nathan who was sat with some of the most good looking guys I had ever seen. Smiling to myself I glanced at Abbie who suddenly stopped before running into Nathan causing them to both fall into the pool with a loud splash.
Laughing I picked up her towel, which she had dropped placing it on a sun lounger next to the guys.
"hello Rachel" the one with the bald head said smiling at me, I looked quizzically at him and responded with "hey."
How did he know my name? My question was answered when he continued "Nathan's told us all about you"
"haha okay, nice to meet you" I reply checking him out.
"I thought you had a boyfriend" the tallest one, with the darker skin and sexy jawbones asked frowning slightly.
"ohh, I did, but I just found out he was cheating on me" I reply sitting on Nathan's chair and crossing my legs, they all exchanged looks.
"sorry to hear that, I'm max" the bald one finally says winking at me.
"wait! I want to hear the introductions" Abbie suddenly calls pulling herself out of the pool and sitting on my lap.
"ewwww your all wet" I complain, playfully slapping her back.
"that's because I was in the pool silly" she replies to me before directing her attention to the lads "I'm Abbie"
"okay so this is Max, Tom, Siva and Jay" Nathan says gesturing to each of them in turn.
"you tan quick" a male voice says from my left and I open one eye to see who it was. It was Tom.
"I suppose I do" I reply smiling at him, he was about to say something else when Abbie's voice interrupts him.
"hey Rach! Come take a photo of us" she asks as Nathan pops up out of the water.
"sure" I reply getting my phone and snapping a quick picture of the two, "and you guys" I add turning to face the other three who where also in the pool play fighting.
"what about me?" Tom asked from behind me, grinning to myself I turn around to face him, before sitting on his lap and snapping a quick picture of us.
"done" I reply winking at him.
