Abbie hadn't said much for the last two days, she spent the majority of her time in her room and avoiding me, I couldn't even begin to understand how she was feeling. Instead of annoying her I left her alone, not wanting to be in her way. Until she passed me one morning and I just grabbed her and hugged her tightly while she cried and told me she needed to get over it.

Abbie's mum had apparently known about her being pregnant and had tried to make her have an abortion but she'd refused.

"let's go out shopping or something today" she said brushing her hair out of her eyes, "I need to get out of this house"

"sounds good to me, I need to get a few more christmas presents anyway" I agreed picking up my phone "shall I ask Nathan and Louis to come?"

'Louis PoV

God shopping with girls is difficult but I'd relented today and just let them do what they want, they deserved it after all, Abbie for her loss and Rachel because of what I do to her everyday, lie.

They spent ages in the changing rooms trying on a billion sets of clothes and only buying half of them, which of course I end up paying for mostly.

"I wanna go back to bed" I complain sitting back on one of the two chairs placed conveniently just outside of the changing rooms.

"tell me about it mate" Nathan agrees yawning.

"oh god, I didn't realise there where that many bags" I groan when I look down and notice the masses of bags the girls have accumulated.

Nath notices me looking down and follows my gaze, letting out a groan of his own when he realises how many we've been carrying.

"can't this be the last shop?" he complains and i was about to answer when the girls come out, Abbie wearing a floaty blue strapless dress and a pair of very high heels. Nathan's face was hilarious and Abbie must have noticed too because she grinned and pulled Rachel out as well, who was wearing a red dress that ended just above the knee and had sparkles around the waist, she too had a pair of heels but they weren't as high and they where suede.

"we're keeping them" Abbie states doing a twirl in the mirror and grinning more happy than I'd seen her in a while.

Those dresses must have cost a fortune, never mind the shoes. Why do shoes cost more than dresses half the time?

I was torn, they did look good and they where happy, but they'd cost soo much... I had other things I could be buying instead of a couple of dresses, not that I was going to tell them that.

"there for new years, you can't deny us a pretty party dress" Rachel said looking at me directly in the eye, and at that I caved in, after all I'd do anything for Mercedes and Kira, my secret girls, "okay" I breathed handing her my debit card.

"Thankyou!" they say at the same time "I love you" Rachel adds as she carefully gives me a kiss on the cheek, followed by Abbie also kissing my other cheek before they both run off, back into the changing rooms.

I can hear Nathan laughing beside me and I scowl at him playfully.

"what do you do as a job then?" he asks while stretching on the chair.

"I've just taken over my dads nursery, but I'm planning to open another" I say proudly, smiling to myself. I got to see Kira there every day. "he retired so I took his role on"

"makes sense" he replies and I was about to ask what he did when the girls came back to us, having already paid without us noticing.

"shall we stop for something to eat on the way back?" Rachel asks and I take her hand,

"sounds good to me" I reply, Nathan echoing my words.
