Chapter thirteen ~ A day by the pool

"How's your head?" Siva asked, directing the question at both me and Abbie while laying down on one of the sunloungers next to us,

"Bad" I mumble in reply, scowling at Abbie when she giggles.

"Mines fine actually Seev, how's yours" she says cheerfully, looking up when quiet footsteps approach us before stopping directly infront. It couldn't be Nath or Jay because i could still hear them in the pool, it was either Tom or Max, probably the former.

"Not too bad" Siva replies flashing us a grin before directing his attention at whoever had stopped infront of us, "hey mate, where'd you disappear to last night?"

"The girls room! Apparently" the mystery guy said, I opened one eye to look at him. It was Tom, as I'd thought.

"Rachel, we need to talk" he said smiling slightly. I knew exactly what he wanted to talk about and so I sighed sitting up, watching as he turned. "See you in a bit" I said following behind Tom who was headed inside.

Tom PoV

I sat down on one of the plush red chairs watching as Rachel did the same opposite me. I looked at her appearance, she looked rough.

"oh thanks" she said moodily crossing her arms, oh I must have said that aloud. I smiled apologeticly at her and she let out a huff.

"What do you want to talk about?" she asked, her eyes stairing into mine.

"last night" I reply breaking our gaze by running my face with my hands, "do you remember? You where pretty drunk" I say, part of me hoping that she did and the other part of me hoping that she didn't.

"No, only what Abbie's told me, which is up until the point when we had tattoos done" she replys and I let out a breath of air. she doesn't remember what we did last night, and I can't help but feel slightly disappointed.

"We slept together Rach" I mumble, "I thought you should know, but I assumed you'd guessed by the fact you where gone when I woke up" I actually really wish she'd remember last night and what I said to her.

"Oh" was all she said, while her eyes searched mine for something. Looking worried she said "it's not gonna affect our friendship is it?"

"I hope not" I say smiling a bit at her "but i wish you'd remember" i mumble the last part as i stood up, heading back outside.

Rachel PoV

Wait did I just hear that right? "I wish you'd remember" I frowed thinking hard and watching as he left, what did he say last night?

Then it came to me, I had a sudden rush of memory and I recalled Tom telling me he loved me. Did he mean it? That would explain the dejected look on his face, but what if he was just drunk?

I stood up quickly, rushing to find Tom so I could ask him, before crashing into something hard.

"woah, careful" Siva said happily and I couldn't help but smile at his accent, it really was cute.

"sorry" I say grinning up at him before stepping around him, he really was sexy and if I didn't feel so strongly about someone else I would totally go for him.

"Tom!" I shouted running out of the doors and towards the direction he left in, just as someone knocked into me causing me to fall into the deep end of the pool.

Abbie PoV

I heard a scream and looked towards the source, watching as Rachel fell. I watched as she went under completely. Oh shit, if she hadn't of gone under she would have been fine. She hated the deep end.

"Jay! Help her" I yelled at him pushing him towards the pool, he jumped in before wrapping an arm around her and pulling her to the surface.

She spluttered, clinging to Jay and looked frightened. Once I knew she was okay I looked at the cause of the fall, a teenage boy who was laughing like a hyena. I marched upto him, "kid, quit laughing. That wasnt even funny" I said pushing him roughly into the water without giving him a chance to reply.

Tom PoV

"Mate, where were you?" Nathan asked sitting on one of the chairs,

"I was here, she doesn't remember last night" I mumble flicking through my phone.

"Rachel came looking for you" I looked up at him when he said this, causing him to grin, "but then she almost drowned"

"WHAT?" I shouted standing up and looking towards the door "is she okay? What happened?" I ask.

"Some kid knocked her in, but Jay saved her so it's all good" he replies stretching, "anyway get ready, we're going out. I just came to tell you"

Jay PoV

"What do you feel like doing?" Max asked as we where walking out of the complex,

"I dont mind" Abbie replied prodding Rachel who snapped out of her daze,

"what about a karaoke?" Nathan suggested "I saw a sign for one at a bar last night"

"that's what we'll do then" Tom agreed and I nodded in approval.

We found a bar that did a karaoke and went inside to see a couple singing 'your song' They weren't bad.

"a skittlebomb and a mojito" I said to the bartender, ordering for both me and Rachel.

"you going to get up and sing a song?" I asked her as she sipped on her drink.

She shook her head laughing "maybe when I'm drunk but defiantly not right now"

I smiled at her, "okay, watch us smash this" I replied heading over to the guys who where gathered around the box.

Rachel PoV

"I can't wait to hear what they sound like!" Abbie exclaimed sitting where Jay once was and stealing his drink.

"hmmm" I agreed while sipping my own drink and looking around at the bar, it was quite nice if not a little old fashioned. Still the drinks where good.

"so which one you got your eye on?" she asked more seriously now, I could tell by her eyes she wasn't just going to let this slip, "and don't try to avoid the question" I knew I couldn't get out of answering her so I decided to just tell her the truth, she knew when I was lying anyway.

"errm. Honestly, I quite like -" I was cut off my the boys announcing them selves.

"So we're a band called 'The Wanted' and this is our new single 'All time low' which is out now"

There introduction caused a few cheers and then the song started to play.

When they sang my eyes where glued to the stage, they where all amazing singers so I got my phone out and recorded them singing. When they finished I stopped it and uploaded it straight to YouTube.

"oh my god, there awesome!" Abbie said getting her phone out from her bag and texting everyone on her contact list;

"Check out 'The Wanted'. They've just released a single 'All time low' it's amazing"

Before turning off her phone and putting it back into her bag as the lads came over to us.

"woah, babe that was amazing" she cooed to Nathan, wrapping her arms around his neck and dancing to a song which had just come on.

After a few drinks, when both me and Abbie where feeling tipsy and after much pestering from the lads, we finally agreed to sing. First Abbie with Nathan and then me with Siva because Tom and Jay argued over who would which was silly really. In the end I just took hold of Siva's arm, dragging him up with me.

I'm so going to regret this I thought to myself as I look the microphone from the stand and Siva introduced the two of us.
