Letter 2

Dear Madoka-senpai,

Im sure you dont know me yet.
Let me introduce myself.
My name is Sawamura Shino 2nd year Class A.

Now that you know me, I'll be more straightforward.
I love you and I always will.
Even if I'm not your ideal person.
I will still love you.

Even if your gonna get married tomorrow,
Ill still love you.

Now I know how it feels like to look at the person you love,
Happy with someone else.
Sadly I found that out in a very painful way.

Yet i ignored all of them.
Im sorry.

But even so.

For inviting me to the wedding.
Though it wasnt me who was with you on the altar.
I already know that you are happy with that person.

Now that I think about it.
I never had any luck with you in the first place.

I first met you when my childhood friend introduced you to me.
She kept bragging about their captain who doesn't attend practice,
But was still the best Kendo player of the team.

After hearing that I became curious.
And as the saying goes, curiosity kills the cat.
I joined the Kendo club with the reason of Mei being my childhood friend.
I practiced for weeks.
And you finally accepted me as your apprentice.
Though you didn't see me as one.

3 months after I joined, Mei quit the Kendo club and joined the Light Music Club.
And by that moment I knew, she was acting the same way I did.
I'm happy for her.
She found someone she could love with all her heart.

But now.
I feel pity for her.

I feel pity for the both of us.

The music started.
Mei began walking to the stage.
And started singing.
Todokanai Koi.

They said their vows after the song.
And the part where I know we'll both cry came.
The part where you kiss the bride.

It hurt for me when the bride was kissed by the man who I wanted to replace the most.
But it hurt more for her where the man she loves was kissing someone else.
And she really wished for it to be her.

I can see that your in tears.
Yet you try to hold it in Why?...

Its supposed to be a happy day.
For the BOTH of THEM.
NOT US..

The wedding has finally ended.
She quickly turned away and walked out.
But Kazami-senpai stopped her before she could run away.

I was gonna stop him.
But you came to me and stopped me.
You looked at the both of them and smiled complacently.

"Are you satisfied?"
You asked me.
That's funny cause I don't think Ill ever get satisfied.
But even so...
"Yes. Yes I am. Thank you for showing me how beautiful it is to fall in love."

"Hahaha. How nostalgic. I told you once right."

I'm sure Mei was thinking the same thing as me.
That we can finally move on.

I've learned something from Mei too.

As Mei finished talking to Kazami-senpai she then started turning her back away for good.
I turned away too.
Then we both headed back to the car and went home. 

"SHINO! MEI! WHEN ITS YOUR TURN TO GET MARRIED DONT FORGET TO INVITE US OKAY!!!"
