The Unlikely pair

Welcome to the family

You walked through the enormous hallway in the school building making  your way to the music room where Honey said he would be at. He'd left his bunny with you in the library like how Tamaki had told him to and had called crying saying he'd lost his toy bunny and somehow you ended up trying to find your way to the music room .

 Once you opened the door you were greeted by the host club members who introduced themselves one at a time. In no time Honey came running to embrace you and his toy bunny.
"(y/n) chan ! So you're the one Tamaki was talking about." Haruhi said as she made her way to give you a pat on the shoulder. Haruhi and you were classmates as well as table partners who got along very well. You looked at her a little confused since you've never met Tamaki before until today. You spotted Mori at the back of the group staring at you, once he realized he'd been caught he gave you a small shy smile before looking away causing you to giggle.
For a guy of his built and popularity he sure is shy you thought to yourself.

"Well then let's cut to the chase, (Y/n) chan we would like to invite you to join the Host club to help Haruhi out in the preparation and kitchen duties !" Tamaki announced causing the room to grow silent. Haruhi who gave your shoulder a squeeze of encouragement before she spoke, " I could really use your help, It'd be less of a hassle with another girl around." She said giving you a small smile.
You looked at Honey who gave you pleading eyes and held onto your hand .
You shrugged and thought to yourself , it wouldn't do any harm... " why not, it'll be fun!" You said causing everyone to sigh in relief.  Everyone started to celebrate and talked about how efficient it would be to have someone helping Haruhi out.

You took a step back from the crowd  accidentally bumping into a piece of furniture, causing you to loose your balance . Before you could register what was happening someone grabbed onto your arm with another hand supporting you by the waist , making sure you wouldn't fall.
There and then you found yourself staring into Mori's eyes , your faces inches away from each others.
Everyone was engrossed in their own conversations and didn't seem to notice the two of you.

A blush started to form spreading across your face , once Mori realized the position both of you were in, he helped you to an upright position where both of you parted , both trying to keep your cool.
"Sankyu na.." You said smiling, scratching the back of your head trying to regain your composure.

Mori nodded , still staring into your eyes, eyes filled with sunshine , eyes that seemed to be able to touch the hearts, eyes that seem... so familiar....Suddenly an image of a smile and sound of a girl calling his name flashed through his head , it was gone as fast as it came. 

That girl...
