It has been 2 weeks since the incident in the infirmary and well nothing much had happened except that you felt a little awkward around Mori ever since that incident , unsure of how to act or what to do you tried your best to avoid being alone with him.

Mori tend to follow you around to help you out and even wanted to walk you home but you perpetually tried to make excuses to make sure both of you didn't get the chance to be alone. You believed that everything that happened that day was cause he hit his head a little too hard but you couldn't help but blush and feel flustered around him.

"(Y/n) ! Table three !" Kyoya shouted. You promptly made your way there as you thought to yourself, no host is assigned to table three ... Once you reached there your suspicion was gone when you saw a couple of guys at the table who happened to be your seniors in the soccer team .

"Guys !Congrats I heard you guys won the game!" You exclaimed giving them a hug each as they started to tell you about how their game went yesterday and how epic it was but disappointing cause you weren't there to see how good they were .You took a seat in the middle of the group , deep in conversation that you didn't notice that Mori and Honey were at the table opposite you with Mori gazing at you uneasily .

Honey seemed to have noticed and tugged Mori's sleeve before he spoke , " (y/n) chan is always so friendly no wonder everyone gets along with her so well." Honey said trying to calm Mori's uneasiness .
Mori gave Honey a brief nod before turning back to gaze at you , you seem so happy smiling and laughing away . He loved to see you happy and smile but what ticked him off was that you were happy being with those other guys. He wanted to be the reason you smiled and laughed that way.

She's friendly but doesn't this count a being a little too friendly ...

It was the end of a long day at the Host club , you were completely exhausted and took your own sweet time to make your way home, enjoying the scenery around you. You had your routinely walk to and fro school but the scenery just gets more and more alluring each time. You took a deep breath in as you took the scene in trying to calm yourself down as you thought back about the scene after sending off your seniors earlier, you had  bumped into Mori which caused  your heart to race like horses in a race track, you'd even say that rapid heartbeat was your personal best .

Deep in thought you weren't conscious or aware of your surroundings which mainly meant you did not notice that Mori was briskly making his way towards you until  you felt someone grab your wrist causing you to come to a halt. You spun around only to see Mori staring at you with a frown forming on his forehead. 
"Mori senpai... I'm really sorry I didn't see you there!" You said bowing trying to prevent him from catching a glance of your blushing face, You swore to yourself that you're blush made you look as though you put on as much blusher as a clown would during his circus performance. 

"Silly girl.." Mori said lifting up your face using his finger on your chin resulting in both of you staring into each others eyes . He took a brief look at your face before continuing, "Why are you being so formal?" 
"Gomen Takashi kun, I must have got a shock and..."You said letting your sentence trail off once You realized that Mori was leaning in , closing the gap between the two of you. You pulled away trying to play it cool as you asked, " Did you want something from me?"

Mori was taken aback by how cold you were being as he clenched his jaw and pressed the bridge of his nose trying to keep himself in check. He couldn't understand why you were acting this way all of a sudden, these 2 weeks was like a roller coaster ride , everytime he thought that both of you were getting along, a sudden wall forms , preventing the both of you from taking the conversation any further and it was really frustrating.

"Takashi kun?" You asked, concerned . Once Mori heard your sweet voice that was no longer cold but pure worry as well as care, all his doubts just flew away , lifting up his gaze to look at you. Once he laid eyes on you, he immediately pulled you into a nearby alley where no one could see both of you. He had you pinned against the wall with one hand beside your face and the other beside your waist. Mori's face and yours were only inches apart which caused you to instinctively place your right hand against his chest , preventing any chances of him closing the space between the both of you.

You were flustered enough , you felt like your heart was about to explode ,but Mori said something that made all your queries go away, something that distracted you from the current situation , something that made the whole world stop.

"Can you feel it?" Mori asked gazing into your eyes . Confused you gazed back into his eyes without a hint of a clue to what he was talking about.  Mori placed his hand on yours , making you realize that you had your hand on his chest the whole time.

" Can you feel how fast my heart is beating for you?" Mori asked which made you realize what he meant.
