After placing my phone back in my pocket it wasn't long until my friends recognisable red swift came tearing around the corner. Music blaring the window wound down and SJ's eyes narrowed at the sight of Thomas. I could sense him tense and begin to stand his ground at the eye gazing coming from my slightly insane friend. I opened the the backseat door and motioned for Thomas to enter the car as I placed our bags in the back. "Girl, he's fine" Sj excitedly looked at Thomas in the backseat. I rolled my eyes and slid in beside him.

"Hands off, he's taken" I warned as we began driving down the streets illuminated by the street lights. "So your finally back from god knows where, what damage have you caused this time?" she chuckled. I hid my face trying to cover up the bright red flush that had erupted on my face, "I didn't do anything! stop trying to make me look bad!" I said a little too quickly. Sarah laughed "so you haven't told him about the shit you usually get up to!?" Sarah turned down a few familiar streets before pulling up at a park.

"Tom, wait till you hear the stories I have of Annabelle and this part" she opened the door and got out taking her bottle of wine with her. The two of us followed, myself with a huff. We made our ways over to the swings and Sarah sat down and took a swig from the bottle. "Are you telling me there is some rebel in Annabelle?" Thomas chuckled taking a seat on the bench opposite the swings. "Mate you have no idea" I climbed up onto the swing and stood as it swung slowly. "Annabelle has had punch ups here, partied like crazy, trespassed, etc etc" she took another swig.

Thomas's eyebrows were raised "Im impressed" he laughed, "I never would have have expected that of Annabelle"

Thomas's eyebrows were raised "Im impressed" he laughed, "I never would have have expected that of Annabelle". "Dude how old are you?" she questioned taking another swig "I have a feeling im going to be driving soon" I commented leaning over to examine how much liquor was left in the bottle. "Your going to drive?" Sarah raised an eyebrow at me and I looked at her confused before realising what she was refereeing to. "No. its not happening""Thomas has Annabelle ever show you how amazing she is at driving? she used to be a get away driver for our group of friends" she smirked.

"Really?" Thomas looked at me clearly thinking about how this talent of driving would come in handy later when we returned to 1919. "How good is she?" He helped me down from the swing "Can you show me what Sarah's talking about" I shook my head quickly no "I don't do that anymore" he could tell I was lying, I could see it in his eyes as he peered at me closer and closer. "I don't!" I tried to stand my ground but failed miserably. "Lets go for a spin shall we?" Sarah lifted herself from the seat and we all made our way back to the car.

I knew where she was taking me, back to my family home where my own car was. I grew up in a family who loved their cars and loved to modify them, I think it was just expectation that my own car would be heavily modified to match my stunt and street racing abilities. we pulled up out the front of my family home and the garage was surrounded by large metal fencing. I got out of the car, scaling the fence and pulled Sarah up as well and left Thomas to look after her car.

It was definitely risk business and my parents would murder me if they knew I was back and taking my car. Sarah opened the gate for me to drive the car out whilst I ran to the shed. I knew my parents wouldn't leave it open especially with me missing and not talking to them, however I had another way in. Through the roof. I climbed up the steps on the side of the garage that I had made in a camouflage so that my parents didn't know.

I slide through the roof of the shed and slipped down beside my car and began lifting the sheet off, placing it on the floor next to it

I slide through the roof of the shed and slipped down beside my car and began lifting the sheet off, placing it on the floor next to it. I walked towards the keys and took them before climbing into the car and opening the garage with the keys. The car roared as the engine started and there would be only minutes before my family made there way down to inspect that everything was still in its place. I sped out back onto the main road and transfered mine and Thomas's things into my car and Sarah returned to her own.

Thomas entered the car and I began speeding down the streets cutting the corners and drifting between cars but of course stopping at red lights. I turned to face Tom and see how he was holding up "You okay I asked" a smile was spreading on his face "you need to do this when we get back" I nodded knowing I wouldn't be getting out of this one. With a sigh the light changed green and I drove down to a hotel that I knew was around the corner. I pulled up into the car park and stopped the car.

A friend of mine owned the place and always had a room available for anyone that needed one. I needed one now. Exiting the car I took Thomas's hand and lead him up waving at Kyle as I walked past and walked towards the room "Your welcome" he called out as I closed the door behind us. "So this is where we are staying tonight?" he asked examining the room "Yeah I cant handle being around Sarah much longer". "There's one bed" He mumbled "Is that a problem?" I spoke taking off my jacket and pants leaving my shirt and underwear on.

I could see him out of the corner of my eyes staring at me and I knew he didn't know what to do. "Relax Tom, im just going straight to bed" he looked away quickly and did the same. I slid in under the covers and waited for Thomas to join beside me. The lights turned out and he cautiously slid in beside me and wrapped his arms around me "Goodnight" I murmured as I drifted to sleep.
