Thomas's P.o.v.
Over the course of the last two weeks the company had picked up in business and Annabelle had been spending an awful lot of time with Sam Will's. It had gotten to the point now where she had been coming home at two in the morning and leaving again as soon as she woke up the following day. I was sick and I was tired of not seeing her and being put aside as if I was less important than Sam. I marched into the living room where the family was having lunch and demanded someone tell me where she was.
"If someone doesn't tell me now then I swear to god I will break something!" I slammed my hand down on the table causing everyone to jump. "Fucking hell Thomas! Calm the bloody hell down!" John exclaimed standing from his seat, the others doing the same. "She's at the library with Ada and Sam" Finn spoke cautiously not wanting him to begin smashing things. He had already managed to put a dent in the wall earlier during the day. "Thomas don't do anything stupid!" Polly warned me as I ran out of the house and drove myself to the library.
Your P.o.v.
I had decided that today I was going to do some more studying at the library with Sam and Ada so that I could help out the company some more. I was good at History and note taking so by doing some investigation into the past of some of the big shots, the company may have a chance of taking them down. As I was walking down one of the corridors on the bottom floor the large carved door flung open with such force that the people nearby flew to the ground.
As my eyes focused on what was happening my heart rate quickened and I instantly let my body go into fight or flight mode. Thomas was storming towards me with such rage that I could feel it from meters away "Everyone out!" he yelled at the top of his voice sending me into flight mode. I chocked on my breath as I whipped around and began running down the corridor with him following behind me. Everyone evacuated the first floor making it hard for me to dodge the people trying to escape Tommy's fury. "Thomas stop!" I screamed back at him trying to stop the situation that was unfolding.
Thomas picked up a pile of books still chasing me and began throwing them without a second thought "Stop what!?" he yelled. His voice echoed in the large building and now people from the second level were hanging over the banisters trying to see what was going on. Tears had begun to form in the corners of my eyes not understanding why Thomas was acting in such a violent and outrageous manor. "This!" I shrieked, I lost all self control and picked up the closest thing I could find and pegged it at him in self defence.
As the object flew threw the air it was almost as if I was watching it in slow motion, I had picked up a large metal paperweight. With the adrenalin that was pumping through my veins I hadn't noticed the amount of weight that there actually was in the object. The object his Thomas in the legs and cause him to bend over and wince in pain. "If I ever see Sam and you together again I will hurt him!" he turned around and began walking out of the building in a rage.
I let the tears fall down on my face and began running up the staircase to an extremely mortified and horrified Ada and Sam. "Something's not right with him" Ada spoke taking me into her arms "I don't know what it is but I haven't seen him that angry in such a long time". Her words stung me, due to my hanging around Sam I had managed to cause Thomas to have a complete meltdown over- well actually im not sure what it was over but it involves Sam. I leaned over the banister myself and inspected the damaged that had been caused in the incident.
I cant deny the fact that I was indeed scared to even step foot in the Shelby house after todays events and I think anyone would be crazy if they didn't feel the same. I sat on the stair blocking out all the talking coming from behind me "Is she okay?" I hazily heard Sam say as I began my downwards spiral into the floor. I had been put through so much shock that my body was now reacting by blacking out in order to recover from the amount of stress I had just been in.
I knew Thomas wouldn't be out of the building just yet, he would wait until he was once again calm and collected. He couldn't show weakness to his enemies or the general public, it was just another reputation that he had to hold up in order to make sure his business remained stable and protected. After going through todays traumatic events I made a silent vow to myself that I would get to the bottom of whatever it was that caused this episode today. I didn't deserve this and whatever I had done to cause this was certainly not done on purpose.
Thomas held his arm crossed over his chest as he thought about the things he had just done and how he knew as soon as he was home people in the family would be on his back about it. He had completely and utterly lost control of himself and almost severely injured Annabelle and innocent people standing by. There was just something that didn't sit right with him when it came to Sam. He had known Sam's father due to having connections with people in the machinery factories but his son had always given him a bad vibe. Maybe he felt as though he knew he would one day steal someone away from him as revenge for what happened to his father.
