Chapter 1

A/N this is the longest chapter in the book. I promise none of the other chapters are this long. 💯😂

5 months later

Things have been going smoothly for Vanessa and Ally. With Normani and Alayna there, that adds to the fun of it all.

"How have you not given birth yet?" Ally asks, as they're sitting on the couch.

"I don't know, I want them out of me." Normani chuckles, rubbing her belly.

"I know it won't help, but Vanessa was 10 days late," Ally says.

"Nice time to tell me," Normani says.

"I would've told you if I'd known," Vanessa says.

"I thought she'd told you by now," Ally says.

"Nope," Vanessa says. "Bounce on the medicine ball."

"I did that already," Normani says.

"What about the other one where you hold the handle and bounce on it," Ally says.

"That may work," Normani says, getting up and groaning as she goes to get it. She sits on it, and tries to bounce on it and falls to the floor underneath it.

This makes them all laugh, as Normani rolls over on her hands and knees and gets up.

With this being her second pregnancy, things were a lot easier. "Don't think that's how it works Mani." Ally laughs.

"Shut up." Normani laughs, trying again and bouncing on it. "Nothing is happening, but this is fun so."

"Maybe if you stop you'll notice something," Vanessa says.

"Oh, right," Normani says, stopping. She suddenly feels a sharp pain in her abdomen. "That might be it." She says, putting her hand on her abdomen. The pain reduces to kicks, causing her to groan. "One of them is kicking the shit out of me."

"Can I feel it?" Vanessa asks.

"Yeah," Normani says.

Vanessa walks over and rubs Normani's belly slightly. One of them kicks her hand. "Jesus Christ, that's enough to get a soccer ball across the field."

"One thing is for sure, he's got your strength." Normani chuckles.

"Wouldn't doubt it." Ally chuckles.

"Why do you think it's Jaiden?" Vanessa asks.

"Because it was hard." Normani chuckles.

"I don't think you're going to lose weight right away this time," Ally says.

"Why not?" Normani asks.

"For one thing, you've had the appetite of a fucking horse," Vanessa says.

"Thanks Captain Obvious," Normani says.

"And secondly, you're huge! Look at your stomach," Ally says.

"Jesus Christ. I got bigger in 2 weeks," Normani says.

"Exactly,"

"You're making me feel fat." Normani whines, causing them to laugh.

"You're not fat," They both say, before Normani groans.

"I think this is actually it," Normani says.

"Labor?" Ally asks.

"Mhm," Normani nods, groaning again as another contraction hits her, harder. "They're so close together." Normani says, trying to breathe in between them.
