3. Goodnight Moon

Jays P.O.V.

I was getting ready for bed, I had just showered , washed my hair, brushed my teeth and put on my night clothes. It was only around nine o'clock but it had been a long day for me. I walked from the bathroom to one of the beds , the only noise I could hear was the swish of my sweat pants.

I connected my phone to my wireless speaker and started playing King Kunta by Kendrick Lamar. I always started my playlist with that song. I turned it up real loud and it was getting real into it until my phone went off.

Unknown:  Hey, it's JHype. You still up?

Me: yesss is there something you need?

Hype🙏: yeah, mind if me and Michel come over for a few?

Me: yeah sure, come on over

Hype🙏:  on our waay.

I shut my phone screen and changed the song to thats what I like by Bruno mars. I pulled the top comforter off the bed and rapped it around myself. I was pretty cold, surprisingly. I didn't bring any hoodies because LA was supposed to be warm! But here I was shivering my butt off. I was about to lay down when I heard a quite knock at my door. I turned off my music and pulled the comforter tighter to my body before going to answer the door.

When I opened the door JHype and Michael were standing outside with a bag in their hands.

"Aw how cute you look like a little slug." Michael said

"Okay cool." I said turning around and walking alway.

The boys followed me into the room. I sat down on the bed and rapped my entire body in the comforter.

"What is up my dudes." I said

"We got you this." JHype said

Michael handed me a bag.

"Whats in here?" I asked

"Just open it." Michael said

I reached into the bag pulling out something rapped in tissue paper. I unwrapped the tissue paper to see a small blue blanket. I was in a little bit of shock. There were words on the blanket.

"This is so cute." I said getting up from the bed and dropping off the comforter off me. "Thank you two so much."

I hugged Michael, then JHype.

"You guys are my favorites right now." I said

"I'm glad you like it." Michael said

"Is that all you guys came over for?" I asked

"Yeah, thats all we came for." JHype said

"You two are the sweetest. I can't thank you two enough." I said

"It was nothing . " JHype said

"I don't know what you guys were up to but I was about to put on a movie if you want to stay over." I said

"We were gonna hang out with with some of the other boys." Michael said

"You could invite them over here, I'd love to meet more of you guys." I said

They thought for a second.

"Yeah, I'll go get them." Michael said, "I'll be back in five."

He headed for the door, flipping the dead bolt so It would be propped open when he came back. I set the bag that the blanket came in on the desk , and curled back up into the comforter.

"Cold?" JHype asked laughing a little.

"Yes , very cold." I said, "I didn't bring any warm clothes with me. LA is supposed to be hot!"

"Ah , can't relate." JHype said, "I wear sweatshirts all the time."

"Can't relate, I only own one sweatshirt" I said

JHype laughed a little.

"What movie do you want to watch?" I asked

"I don't know anything is cool with me." JHype said sitting down on the bed next to me.

"Okay cool we are going to watch a scary movie then." I said

The door opened, JHype and I looked to see who came in. Michael came in with six other boys. I just stared at them for a minute

"I brought just a few of the boys. You already meet Brady. This Camry, Mikey, Drew, Marcus and Andrew Butcher." Michael said, pointing at each boy as he said their name.

"Nice to meet all of you." I said with a smile.

They all smiled back at me. Michael sat down on the bed next to me and JHype. Drew, Brady and Mikey all climbed onto the other bed. Marcus , Camry and Andrew made themselves comfortable on the chairs in the room and on the floor.

"We're gonna watch the shining." I said putting on the movie.

"Atrocious." Brady said.

I scooted back on the bed sitting up with against the headboard. JHype also scooted back and sat next to me. Michael layed down on the bed with his feet toward me and JHype. The other boys settled all different ways on the other bed, basically a cuddle puddle.

We watched the movie, about half way though I felt my eyes staring to get heavy. I slid down and laid my head on a pillow. I saw JHype move, I looked up at him to see a slight smile on his face.

"You're gonna fall asleep aren't you?" JHype said

I shook my head, he laughed a little and patted me on the head. I looked at the boys who were still left. Andrew and Drew left as soon as they realised that we were actually going to watch the movie. Most of the other boys were asleep, the only ones still awake were JHype, Marcus and MAYBE Michael. It was hard to tell if he was awake or not.

As I felt my eyes get heavier I pulled my legs up close to my body. I closed my eyes and brought my head down off the pillow expecting it to fall into the bed, but my head ended up in JHypes lap. I thought about moving but I have to admit I was very comfortable.

"You can't fall alseep on me." I heard JHype say.

I didn't respond, I just pretended to be asleep.

I heard him sigh.

"You're real lucky I like you." He said .

I felt him start to gently play with my hair. Thats the last thing I remember before I actually fell asleep.
