12. Cry Babies

Michael's P.O.V

We were now three episodes live, Miles, Dorian , Camry and Andrew Butcher had all gone home so far. I was still in the competition, I came in as a rapper not as a singer and I'm so blessed to have made it this far. I was walking down the hall in the stuido heading to rehersal. I saw Jay walking down the hall toward me with two babies in her arms.

"Why do you have babies?" I questioned

"Yeah good question." Jay replied, "this is Skylar, and this is Jasper. These girls are almost a year old, they're my dads kids."

"And why do you have them?" I asked

"For you, here take one." Jay said handing me a baby.

"awe who are you?" I said to the baby, "Why am I talking to you you can't speak."

"That is Jasper, my dad wasn't supposed to work today but he got called in and had no one else to watch them." Jay said

"Uh what about their mom?" I asked

"Their mom died in a car accident when they were only a few months old." Jay said

"Oh man." I said

"And I love them but I have to get together outfits for yall today." Jay said

"Why didn't you have the boys help you take care of them?" I asked

"They're leaving tomorrow and they're being butt heads." Jay said

Jay saw Mikey at the end of the hall.

"Mikey want a baby?" Jay yelled

"I thought you were with hooking up with Michael but whatever is cool with me." Mikey yelled back

Jay and I looked at each other and broke out laughing. Mikey started down the hall toward us.

"Oh you actually have a baby." Mikey said as he got closer.

"Yeah, this is Skylar." Jay said, "can you watch her for like an hour?"

"Are these your kids?" Mikey asked

"No, Why would you think that?" Jay asked

"You have a wild life , I wouldn't doubt that these kids would be yours and Michaels." Mikey said, "I could see you two having a love child."

I laughed .

"You think I'd have a kid this young?" I questioned

"Chance did." Mikey said

"Okay , well can you guys just watch them for like an hour?" Jay asked

"But we have rehearsals." Mikey said

"I got it covered." Jay said, "You can hide out in wardrobe with them while I work."

"Okay." Mikey said taking the baby from Jays arms

We walked behind Jay to wardrobe. We got there to see a baby bag and two car seats. Mikey and I made ourselves comfortable with the babies out of the way of Jay. We occupied them. Till they fell asleep. We had been watching them for about 15 minutes when Tim bust through the door.

"What are you boys doing in here?" Tim said

Jasper woke up from all the noise, I tried to calm her by bouncing her gently.

"Tim please let me keep them for twenty more minutes." Jay said, "I know they need to rehearse but I needed to do this and I needed their help."

Tim looked at me and Mikey before speaking.
