Sinbad and Koumei started their discussion, obviously overlooking the one they were talking about, who was sat near to where they were.
I could hear everything and happy tears flowed down my cheeks as I gazed into the eyes of the one I really loved, the one who also looked like he was going to burst into tears at any moment. This was the best news I had learned in a while. Going back to Sindria was like a dream and so was being in the arms of Sharrkan again.
A part of me felt terrible for Koumei, he truly loved me, and if things were different, maybe we could have been happy together. But my heart was only filled with Sharrkan and nobody could change that. Sharrkan and I were meant to be.

"Sharrkan have you seen Takeo?" (Y/n)'s head turned from side to side as she searched the palace grounds for her son.
"He's over here!" shouted Sharrkan from afar, the sound of swords clashing accompanied his voice.
Not this again... (Y/n) rolled her eyes, then giggled at the father and son's antics.
Every day her son would run off somewhere, not that she minded, because in the palace there were things that a young boy would be curious about, and it was relatively safe. Then she would find him at the training grounds with his father. Sharrkan would instruct him on how to wield a sword - like he was doing now.
"Mamma!" The adolescent boy who looked to be about 10, discarded the sword he was holding and ran into his mother's arms.
"He's improving." She observed as she hugged Takeo to her. "He's going to be a great swordsman one day."
"Like his daddy." Sharrkan laughed in response and put his arms around his wife and son, kissing them atop their heads.
