Episode 8

The next day you woke up covered in sweat. A tear was going down your cheek. -How come I never remember what the nightmare was about.-you though as you wiped it. You took a shower and got down for breakfast.
-Good morning.-you said.
-Morning.-everybody responded.
-So, how are you (N)?-asked Petra.
-I'm okey.-she looked at you with a little concern.-And you?
-Good. Are you stressed about the mission?
-I guess I'm not. Not yet at least. I try not to thing too much about it.
-Well that's good. I'm terrified. So many people already died...
-I know...
Rest of the day got by as every other. Breakfast, training, rest, dinner, training,rest.
You took one of the books Levi gave you and walked to the mess hall to read. Levi was sitting there drinking tea.
-Want some tea?-he asked.
-Yes, please.
He handed you a cup of tea and sat on the chair facing you. You started reading but couldn't really focus because you felt him watching you.
-You are distracting me.-you smiled and looked at him.
-Sorry.-he smiled a little.
You put the book away and drank your tea.
-Sorry for asking this but. That man. He was your father?
-Yes.
-You joined scouts because of him?
-I joined to escape from him. So yes.
-He used to.. hit you earlier?
-Yes. Not only that but... it's not something I love to talk about. I actually never told anyone about this.
-Why? ...What did he do?- his expression was more angry with every word You spoked.
-It wouldn't change anything. He has to much power. Everybody is scared of him.
-What did he do?
-He...- you started to shake as the memories came. You couldn't say a word.
-Did..Did he.. touch you.
You looked away. Tears started to fill your eyes.
-How old were you?-his voice was breaking.
-Ten.-you whispered as a tear fell on your cheek.
Levi stood up and sat next to you. He wiped your tear with his thumb and put his hand on your cheek.
-I will never let him hurt you again. I promise.-he said as he looked you in the eyes.
You didn't hold your tears any longer you let them run down your cheeks. He moved you closer to him and put his arms around you. You leaned on him. You felt the heat from his body and listened to his heart beat. You didn't even no when you fell asleep.

-(N)?-he whispered. -She fell asleep.-He decided to take you to your room. He lied you on the bed and sat on the edge. -She is so beautiful. How could anyone hurt her?- he closed his fists with anger as he though about your father. He sighed and looked at you a for a while. You moved in your bed and made a silent moan. He covered his face with his hand as his cheeks turned red. He sighed.
-What are you doing with me?- he looked at you, leaned closer and kissed your head.

In the morning you were surprised to woke up in your bed. You blushed as you realized where you fell asleep.
After morning training you walked to the stables wanting to go for a ride on your free time.
-Hey (N)!-Petra run over to you.-where are you going?-she asked with a smile.
-I was going to go for a ride to the forest and back.
-Mind if I go with you.
-Of course not. Come.
You prepared your horses and got on. You started riding slowly to the forest.
-So.. What happened to you that day you left?
-I met someone I once knew. I don't really want to talk about it. Sorry.
-Oh no it's okey. I'm sorry for asking. I was just wondering if you are alright.
-I'm okey now.-you smiled.
-That's a relief. I-I have one more question. I don't want to be rude or anything but...
-What is it?
-Do you..Do you and Levi.. Is there something going on between you two?
-W-Why?-you looked the other way to hide your red face.
-I saw him yesterday evening carry you sleeping to your room... And you are already blushing so I guess I know the answer already.-she smiled sadly.
-I don't really know how to call it. There is something but... I'm not sure.-She looked down.-Do you like him?
-I do...
-I'm sorry...
-No, don't be. I will be alright. And it makes me happy seeing him like that. He seems more... happy. You know? When you are around.
-You really are a great person to say this. But I think that's not really what you are thinking.
-You are right... But I really like you. I'm your friend and I want to be happy seeing your happiness. But I...
-I understand.-you made it to the forest.
-We should get back.
-Yeah.-you looked at the trees.-Want to do a little race?-you smiled.
-Haha sure. Why not?
-Ready?-you leaned on to your horse and prepared it for the sprint.-3.

-Go!
Your horses jumped forward. Your horse started to run faster then hers. You knew you could win with no problems with him. But you whispered to him.
-Lets let her win okey?-and you slightly pulled the reins. He shakes his head as he would like to show his dissatisfaction to this idea but he slightly slowed down. Petra started to get closer and soon she was first. But slightly.
-Ohhh!-you stopped in front of the stables.
-I won!
-I thought I got you there!
She laughed as you got of the horses. You smiled hearing her laugh.
-Maybe next time you will win.-she said and raised her head proudly.
-I will for sure.-you both laughed.
-You are a really good friend (N). Even though we don't know each other so long I fell like I have known you for years.-she hugged you.-let's go for dinner.
-Okey.-you smiled at her.
