Episode 13

Levi was sitting in your room for the fifth day. You didn't woke up yet since that day. Your face still looked white like snow.
-Captain Levi?-a doctor walked in.
He looked at him not saying his.
-How is your leg?
-Good.
-Well. That's great.-he looked back at you.-Since we didn't find anyone from her family I decided to inform you about her state.
After he said that he got Levi's attention.
-What is it?
-She lost a lot of blood. It's a miracle she is alive actually. We don't know if she is going to wake up though.
-What?
-She may not be able to wake up. And if she does we don't know if the loss of blood didn't do any serious damage to her brain.
-What do you mean by that.-he tried to act as calm as he could.
-I saw a few cases like that. Some of them lost their sight, hearing or voice. Some couldn't feel some parts of their body. Some forgot everything. How to walk, speak. Most of my patients in that kind of states didn't even woke up actually. But a few of them did and were fine. We have to wait and see.
After that information Levi turned away and looked at you.
-We will inform you if anything happens Sir.- he said and after he didn't gat any response he walked away. Levi grabbed your hand. His tears were falling on the sheets.
-I'm sorry...I'm so sorry. I couldn't protect you.-he lied his head on you and cried silently.
A few days later Levi had to leave the hospital to guard Pastor Nick while everyone else fought with titans in Wall Rose and then The Armored and Colossal Titan that happened to be one of the scouts soldiers. Actually Commander Erwin could get that task to anyone but he wanted Levi to walk out as he stayed with you in the hospital for almost a week. That idea made him only angry. He couldn't sleep at night because he couldn't stop thinking about you and what will happen if you wake up. If you wake up.

Levi was sitting in Erwin's room. He lost an arm in last expedition. They were sitting in silence since they found out the truth about were the titans came from in Wall Rose. That they are actually people.
-Can I go now?
-Levi. I need you to get back to your new squad. You can't stay in that hospital forever. I know you can't fight yet but that doesn't mean you are off duty. -He looked at Erwin with anger.-She may never wake up Levi.
He couldn't calm his breath. He opened his mouth to say something but suddenly someone knocked on the door.
-Yes? Come in.-said Erwin.
The doors opened. A soldier walked into the room and saluted.
-Sir! Captain Levi. We revived a letter from you. It's from hospital so we though it is important Sir.-he handed him the letter.
-Yes. Yes it is...

You opened your eyes. You screamed but your voice broke. You tried to sit up but you quickly fell back on the bed. When your eyes got used to light you realized you are in hospital.-What happened?- you suddenly remembered everything. Every detail of that day. You looked around the room. You were alone. Your heart started to beat faster. You felt a burning pain in your chest. Suddenly a nurse came and run to your bed.
-Calm down! Can you hear me?
-Y-Yes.-you said really quietly.
-Oh my God.-she smiled.-That's amazing. We thought you would never wake up.
-Huh?
-Oh. I'm sorry. Please don't move try to calm down. I will go for the doctor.- she quickly left the room with a smile on her face.
You tried to move your fingers. Than your legs. Your muscles were all really stiff.-How long have I slept?- You tried to move your hand up. It moved but you had no energy. And you were hungry. Really hungry. A doctor came to you with another nurse.
-Hello (N). How are you feeling?- he sat on the chair next to you.
-I'm hungry.
That's really good.-he laughed.-can you move your hands for me? Just a little.-you did what he asked you to.-And your feet?
-I'm not paralyzed. How long have I slept.
-Almost two weeks.
-What?
-Please stay calm. We will talk more in the evening okey? You need to rest now and eat. We got you as many vitamins as we could but we don't have good enough medicine for some of them. So you have to eat. Nurse.
The nurse helped you sit and then walked out with the doctor. Then she came back with a fresh meal. When you were done eating you have gone to sleep again. A nurse woke you up a few hours later to give you a dinner. After that you felt a lot better. You could talk normally now. You were still weak but you could sit up on your own now. The doctor came to your room and sat on the chair.
-So. Felling better?
-Yes.
-I must say I'm really amazed by how you recovered. No signs of brain damage and you look better every hour as the nurse said.-he got closer to take a look at the bandages around your neck. You you moved back as quick as you could. He stopped. The pain in your chest came once again.
-I'm sorry. Does it hurt.-he pointed your neck.
-No.-you touched the bandages and started breathing quicker.
-Are you okey?
-Yes.-you calmed yourself.-I just remembered. That... accident.
-I see. There is something I need to ask you.-he looked at his papers.-Your family? Do you have anyone you would like to inform?
-N-No. My family is gone.
-I see. I'm sorry. Oh but I see there is your squad leader name written in here. He wanted me to inform him if anything happens.-your heart started to beat faster.
-Is he okey?
-As far as I know, Yes. His leg needs a few more weeks to heal if that's what you are asking about.
-I see.-you looked down.
-Should I write to him?-he looked at you.
You though about what he may think of you now. After what he saw. But he was your squad leader anyway. You hesitated for a moment.
-Yes. Please do so.
